Work in a lab making raw material for medical devices, mainly in the transplantation area. It gets done because a handful of the techs keep things glued together while we get berated by the higher ups to get shit done. However, supervisor is alw- NEVER (95% of the workday) in the lab to see the day-to-day operations. Just what's being input in the computer logs and data from work that's processed downstream.
I know how to get shit done better. I don't get paid to fix it though. I rather have it fall apart than save my supervisor when the time comes. Even the former Lean Manufacturing Manager - aka, the Bob or the workflow analyst or whatever - saw that my supervisor was worthless in the process. Said analyst found a better job because there was so much management resistance to change anything. He didn't have an opportunity to do the cost-analysis of managerial personnel and the impact it has to the bottom line.
Oh well at least I have job security and work independently for the most part.
I didn't sleep at all last night, feel like shit.
pretty sure I have another cold.
Weather change here basically eviscerated everyone. 85 to 40 in a week. Like half my friends are sick.
I got sick BEFORE weather turned. Hoping it doesn't happen again..

Gchat is all fucky. My day has taken a turn for the awful.
Idk if this is a fail or a win. Was biking 20 miles per hour and my phone slipped out of my pocket (probably wasn't in all the way)
Giant cracks... on the back; Not a single bit of damage to the front screen.
All of about 70 F out coworker decides to turn on AC. Complaining sun shiny thru the windows too hot. It's partly cloudy about to be completely clouding and probably rain soon <.<
Naw it's fine we don't let women work here. Though had a hot FBI agent here today
you can bundle up but you cant bundle down
unless you want a sexual harassment lawsuit
Always had the same thing to say to the bullshit AC argument.
If you are cold, you can put on layers. If someone is hot, they can only take off so many layers before you get written up. So shut the fuck up and bundle up.
Edit: Fuck you Bane. Beaten.
"It is a problem when it's warmer outside than it is inside your office."
No, it isn't. It's too damn hot outside.
I thought the entire point of AC was to make it cooler inside then outside.... regardless though while I do generally agree on the bundling thing it was literally 72 outside about 75 in the office and mid 60s in the warehouse that he just came out of that connects to the office which if we opened the door to would've made the office just about as cool as well. Kind of a ridiculous time for AC
