Yeah I don't play those games for long. Quickly becomes I'm not saying any I've already said so figure shit out or go hungry

The correct way to handle that situation is "I am going to ____, would you like me to pick you up anything while I'm there?"
In completely unrelated news, my bird died today. Cockatiel, 18 years old. I've kinda expected it would happen he's been acting strange for the past year or two; wouldn't let me pet him any more, just wanted to burrow underneath the couch whenever I let him out of his cage. But it still caught me off guard because he hasn't seemed any different than normal.
TIL my husband's a woman. We had this convo like three days ago, but he's the one that couldn't decide.
He's also notorious for this:
Do you want In N' Out or Habit?
"Yes."
FUCK BITCH THAT IS NOT A YES OR NO QUESTION.
My FWP:
Got a super nice Samsung Washer Dryer. We bought it in September, but got it shipped in October.
Dryer is already not heating. Did all the normal trial and errors (checked vents, reset circuit breaker, etc.) Nada. Had to talk to a Samsung rep and they are supposed to send out a person, but they still haven't called back to schedule an appointment.
I am going to hate the laundry I am going to have to do to catch up once it's fixed.
tbf both those burger places are about equally good and similarly priced.
So here's a fail. Friend of mine tells me she found Halo Top on sale for $2.99. The fail is it's in a cheaper type of super market that doesn't exist over here and even if it did for some reason only specialty places like Oliver's market's or whole foods are weird local coop type super markets carry it and those kind of places tend to be more expensive even when on sale so you know they wont have a sale like that
I blame some of this, in part, to a lack of uniformity in street naming. Like, some will literally be Third St. on their signs, while in other towns it'd be 3rd. I know we're smart enough to typically make such distinctions, but I doubt these machines are really given such attention when they've basically got all their map data to sift through/set up. Merged words are another matter entirely. :/
Well here's the really bad part. The classic version figured it out just fine. But they've discontinued it for this newer version that they have been pushing for several months now when it clearly buggy in ways the classic wasn't. I'd use google except the entire reason I switched from bing to google was because they basically did the same thing with making a new and improved that for my use is anything but (the biggest thing being they reduced the max number of stops down to only 10) and getting rid of old. Tried looking for some others but yeah haven't really found any usable options
If you say "whatever" or "I don't care" you don't get to say no.
My best realist most truest to term first world problems ever.
1) My new Nest Thermostat isn't connecting to the WiFi anymore and is slowly discharging. Not sure if a fuse blew or something was tripped but the Rh wire only seems to charge the unit when it's calling for heat, so when it's at or above temperature in the house the unit slowly dies. Don't have a common wire either and the Rh definitely has power to it so it's either a bad unit or I dont even know.
2) It might rain/snow for the Monday Night Football game I'm at next week and I have row 8 field level seats at the 40.
Random Win:
I'm going to the Monday Night Football game next week and I have row 8 field level seats at the 40. Lol
snow during a football game never hurt anyone. man up buttercup
oh, yeah, freezing rain is shitty.
Ok forecast changed since I last looked, still too far out to know for sure but now instead of freezing rain it's half an inch of rain high 43 during day 80% chance.
Fucking AC out again in my office. Fucking 76 in here and waiting for the building maintenance guy to get up here and figure out what's wrong again. I swear people here in this office freaks out if the temperature goes below 70.
I hate my sister. I honestly hate her. She is basically killing my mother through grief and I cannot stand it. I want to yell and scream at her, but that would just be to make myself feel better, but would end up hurting my mom even more, and that's not worth it.
Wall o'text inc (sorry, but I need to vent so badly):
I've mentioned it before but my sister loves drama and loves to blame everyone else for her problems and married a shitty husband who I like to say is verbally violent (99.9% sure he's never hit their kids, but loves to bark real loud and be an all around douchebag asshole). My mom lives in CT, and they live in the next town over, whereas I live in Cali so can't do all that much. Anyway, my sister and her husband for the longest time didn't work. They would try to do silly little stuff for income (sell Wow gold, start like an esty-type thing, etc.), but nothing consistent. The husband's father is actually who bought their home, and they've basically been living off retirement (too proud for welfare, which I'd be fine with it if were for the fact that they have three kids).
Oldest child is exhibiting some of the husband's violent behavior and has an IEP. Sister's town sucks for IEP kids, and my mom's town is really good. So for about two months now my sister and her kids have been living at my mom's Mon-Thurs so the kids could be enrolled at her school. My mom is a 6th grade teacher there and even got my sister a teacher's aide job. My sister actually was a teacher maybe ten years ago for about 5 years. My mom is retiring this year and even tried to convince her boss to hire my sister to take her place.
As I mentioned, my sister loves drama, and can be really vindictive and over sensitive. Apparently there are parent-teacher conferences tomorrow and my sister got into some sort of fight with the secretary at the school because she wanted to meet at X time which was too late for the teacher or something. Some of my mom's coworkers told her there was a fight, so she texted my sister being pretty innocent to the whole thing. "I heard there was an issue with [secretary], what happened?" Sister flipped the ever living fuck out of my mom. Blamed my mom for making the school against her...When she was fucking trying to get the school to hire her, right? That the school was racist to my sister's skin color (...we're white). etc. etc.
Sister and husband ended up coming to my mom's to take the kids away, husband also did his big bully thing screaming at my mom that this was all her fault etc. Later on, sister came back to get all the stuff saying my mom can no longer see the kids and they were going to move back to their home's school district.
Like, they are shitheads. My mom knows this, but she wants to see the grandkids. She is terrified that when the grandfather dies they will end up homeless. And honestly, even with knowing my sister is a shithead, she's still my mom's daughter. I wouldn't know what I would do if my kids acted this way. And I know my mom loves her grandkids so much, it's like killing her from the stress of worrying about them.
And I can't even do anything. If I yell at my sister, she'll just take it out on my mom, and my sister is not worth it. I want my mom to come here, and she won't. And I hate that, too. She would have a restful retirement here, she would have my kids as grandkids to play with. She would never be treated disrespectfully, and never has been when she's come to visit, so she knows that. But she's got it stuck in her head that CT is her home. But even if she were happy there, the weather is not good for her health. I keep bringing up the friends she has who have retired to the south, but she just won't budge. It does hurt. I get it, in the sense that she knows her grandkids here are in good hands, so she has to worry about the grandkids there. But I don't want her to have a heart attack.
uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhh hhhhhhhgggggggh
Well, /hi5 for being "the responsible child."
Your sis sounds childish and trashy.
you should contract a BGer to knock on her door and call her a cunt. Call it a cunt-agram or something.
She is. My mom and I both believe there actually is something wrong with her. It's one of those things that we didn't really noticed when she was an adult, but looking back there were signs. But really, it's like she hit her teenage years, and never left all the angst and hatred that came with it. She's almost 40 and she still acts like she's 16.
What's crazy is that she acts like she had this miserable upbringing. While I am desperate to give my kids half of what I had growing up because I thought it was full-on spectacular.
It amazes me how we could have two completely different views of our childhoods when we had the same experiences (parent-wise that is).
