Don't even start that.
Customer: I went to your business yesterday and the lights were off and the door was locked and the sign said you were only open wed-sat. Are you guys open on Monday?
Or just hang up a sign that says "NOPE".
I'm afraid it might take more to get thru to these people.
Got home from my bike ride tonight, where I got left behind less than half way into the ride before I could no longer keep up w/ the group. Then since I did about 30 miles, I waited a couple hours before heading out to my obstacle course. Got about half way done w/ the last lap and both of my quads locked out at the same time, lol. Had to limp over to the nearest pull up bar and just rep them out until my legs were okay to finish off that lap
Sister-in-law's brother had a tumor on his brain. He had surgery like two days ago but they induced a coma I guess to make sure nothing gets damaged. Idk a whole bunch of how that works but naturally everyone in the family is super stressed out.
He is a really awesome guy, and I just hope that he'll turn out ok. ;_;
I think they generally induce a coma to avoid sending the patient into shock due to blood loss or extreme pain. In this case it was likely blood loss.
I really hate websites that won't let you cancel an order through the website. I go to call them because christ knows how long it'd take them to check an email and they don't open until 9am mountain time.
Shitty night at work with a lot of malfunctions and screw ups. During one incident I took initiative to work on an issue and have another guy at the controls, who proceeded to screw up. Supervisor thought I was at the controls, ugh.
Get home and find my drone arrived in the mail, so I decided to break it out and relax a bit. Within a minute I get it stuck in a tree 20+ feet up. Struggle for a long time trying to rig a pole together to dislodge it. Failed miserably. Got it down after digging out my old paintball gun and blasted it. Couldn't believe I had a CO2 tank and paintballs after not using it for almost 5 years.
Your drone getting stuck in a tree is such a good FWP.
So around 2:30 AM I lost power. Normally I wouldn't have known being asleep and all but MY UPS started making annoying sounds to let me know and for some reason my neighbors started thrashing around in the dark keeping me up. Got maybe another hour of sleep felt terribad spend a bit of time slowly getting ready debating calling in or not. Decide to not. Starts raining on my ride at a point I would've been at work if I hadn't spent time deciding. Have to take a detour because a road is closed off due to a huge fire that apparently early this morning in the rain like a mile from my apartment. Oh man worst part is one of the warehouses in the fire served as storage for my favorite book store
Had two take-home finals for grad courses due last night, so naturally I hadn't slept since Saturday. 5am today, I hear my roommate's girlfriend screaming at him to wake up. A few seconds later, all the smoke alarms go off. Apparently she had tried to make him breakfast and, one thing leading to another, our oven was on fire. I briefly considered my options then went back to bed.
Wake up to find that the real fail is the emails containing the ZIP files with my exam I sent to my QM professor were never received so now I'm frantically sending him a bunch of uncompressed files and screenshots of my email sent box and wondering if I actually died in that fire and this is hell. You know, first world hell.
Had to take apart my sink disposal to dislodge a stubborn piece of bone. Usually manually turning it with the axle key does the trick. Not this time, and the smell was horrendous!
Hit a fuckin' deer. At least it was only about half a mile from my house. Busted my driver side lights all to shit and fucked my bumper up a bit.
