So okay, we have one of those ovens that you push buttons just to set the temp (I call that a electronic oven), not a dial.
It has been broken since Thanksgiving; we had to go out for thanksgiving dinner. We'd called a repairman before and they had to order a part.
They just missed the SECOND appointment after they said they got the part. My sister got to the owner (who is also pissed); if he manages to break a few heads and stuff, we'll have a oven for Christmas and this won't be a fail..but it kinda sorta is, since it seems they were stringing us along; the owner seemed to think the part hadn't even been ordered!
uggg taking some fiber capsules and one got stuck in the back of my throat. This is so irritating
edit: motherfucking customers. Guy comes in 5 minutes till closing to have his hard drives destroyed. Sure we do that. He wants to watch us take it apart and destroy the platter inside though... yeah that can take a decent amount of time depending on which ones and how many different types/sizes of screws they use (record I've seen is about 12). But wait it gets better. He's already attempted to take it apart. Except he didn't take all the screws out of the cover on one and tried to force it so now that screw is also twisted and have to drill it out. On the other one tried to force out the platter so again screws are fucked and need to be drilled out. Plus he's drilled huge holes in all the platters so even after the screws are out they don't want to come out. Meanwhile he's laughing at all the trouble I'm having and saying my bad I didn't know they had to be taken apart... then why the fuck did you try and fail worse then a 100 year old retarded grandma
Cleaning out my office, found a year old candy cane. Debating on sending it to CS to aid in his quest to become immortal.
If it's still wrapped, I'd eat it.
funny, that's the exact opposite of how I feel about dicks
I spent $4.28 on a special hot chocolate from Shake Shack and it wasn't that good.

Went nuts on christmas gifts this year. Immediately after I'm told i need a root canal. Going to cost me around 2 grand after insurance when all is said and done. Well i HAD money. Sigh.
Well, the oven situation is officially a really bad fail. /sigh.
Me and my brother I once shared a account to play FFXI with are headed to the library tomorrow so I can look at back Consumer Reports for reviews so we can decide on which brand of oven to buy, probably after Christmas. The owner that my sister managed to contact finally told us that the oven is not fixable, we were LIED to. We are getting a refund on the deposit but still. This means no turkey, no pie, no cake, no cookies..not until we can get a new oven.
The bright spot is this is getting someone fired. Owner was really pissed, he's prolly going to fire a few folks who were treating us like crap. He figures he lost a customer..he's right.
Proposed to gf 2 weeks ago. Set date for wedding sometime in 2018.

It's a 10 year old Kenmore wall oven, and it's def the temp sensor btw from the error (F1 or FI, depending b/c that display is funky) We've had this issue before and managed to get it fixed two years ago. What happens; it'll meeeebeee cook something for a little bit (we were lucky to get dinner done last night) and then it'll stop cooking, the display changes to F1, and then no worky, and you can't clear it for a few hours (it keeps popping up). Does not help our situation when ordinarily there'd be a LOT of stuff to cram in the oven for Christmas dinner! If you didn't see the second post, the owner finally found out that the part is not available anymore, so we got a dead oven and need a new one. (I can find you the exact model number if you think you can find the part, but after what happened I doubt anyone can.)
This has been going on since before Thanksgiving, so we had to go out to eat on Thanksgiving (my sister found that fun tho I didn't think she liked standing in line at the restaurant though)..I'm just hoping the fact that my middle brother (the one that makes the most money in this house) won't get a birthday cake if we don't have a oven will light a fire under his butt; he tends to drag his feet on getting anything fixed in this house. Took him 3 years to get him to get the roof fixed, for instance. (In this instance, this problem hits his stomach so maybe he'll move faster. He does like his sweets.)
I can tell you tho from this; I REALLY HATE ELECTRONIC OVENS. But it may just be the model. I'm headed to the library in a bit to poke for Consumer Reports for their reliability reports on ovens. I want any new oven to outlast me if at all possible; none of this horsecrap on it failing if you breathe on it.
Kid slept in an extra two hours which would normally be cause for rejoicing. He slept because he was sick. Walked in the room and hit the wall of vomit stench. He projectile vomited all over his bed and his stuffed animals. Kids are gross.
My son has a cold, and I just woke up with a sore throat. I was mad sick on thanksgiving, too. I want a holiday I can just enjoy!!!!
Restaurant thought niggas can't do math or something.
Got a $9.99 meal and we have 7% tax. Meal should have been $10.70, but instead they charged me 11.40. Just gave them the 11.40 and no tip. What they overcharged was their tip. I didn't complain or say anything because I paid less than I was intending to when I walked in (was going to tip 3 bucks, so I saved 2 dollars 30 cents by them trying to screw me over)
Or someone did the math wrong and you could've pointed it out instead of assuming they were out to get you.
My wife, our 4 year old, and I have been sick since Thanksgiving solid. We thought we were getting over it then all had a relapse in the last week. Nasty cold/cough. Sore throat super snotty. So tired of this. Oh yeah and my wife is pregnant and due any day now. I can imagine this will be fun with a new baby in the house.
My fwp is that we started renovating our house at the beginning of the year as soon as we found out we were having a second so that we could make our bedroom a little bigger. We thought that we would be done by now but construction always takes more time than you think. While the project is ongoing my wife and I have been sleeping in our living room. 2 dogs, 2 cats, a 4 year old and 2 adults living in about 300ish square feet of space.
Looks like we will be adding a newborn to the mix in that space as our bedroom won't be ready until after the birth most likely.
(Our house will be really amazing once we are done with the project.)
