Tossed and turned in bed for 3 hours without a wink of sleep, because I'm too excited to play ffxiv. I'll be able to stay up until around 7 or 8 am until I get too tired to continue playing/enjoy the game. Then I'll have to sleep while everyone else plays without me.

Awake for 21 hours on Saturday due to the boy child. Finally fall asleep and the wife watches him rip off the rest of his umbilical cord. First trip to Children's Hospital complete. 4 hours waiting just to be told he's fine and we didn't need to bring him in(after they told us to bring him in.)

Broke up with my partner of 4 years ....but because my visa is in limbo it doesn't make sense for me to move out until I know one way or another.

The breakup was amiable...but it messes with you when you wake up next to someone you loved but aren't together with anymore.

Ugh why is NYC so crazy expensive, majority of other cities in the world I'd be able to afford to financially put myself up for the short term.

Turned down a job that pays double what I currently do because it was a temporary position and I cant afford to gamble that the position will extend to full time past the 4 weeks letting me quit my current job

lol well she knew better than to step foot in the place, but still had to live with the guy without decking him for a good while. It was somewhat offset by her dad being a pot grower who felt terrible about the situation and hooked me up with a large stash, so for a couple months I was at least too high to feel feels

25 x 21 foot. It's huge. And all the drywall is done Sep. Just sanding down the mud. Then have to prime and paint. Got 24 boxes of flooring to install after that. Then the rest that needs done is just shit I can do piecemeal when I get time. Though for the first few months the game room will consist of a pod chair, a 50 inch flat screen, and all my games.
