God talked to the dumbest person ever. First he calls us and asks us a dozen times if we are robots. Every thing we tell him is met with a but I thought it was different or what what what. The best being is how he keeps telling us we aren't where he says we are because he couldn't find us at some address that isn't ours isn't what we told him. And then when he we tell him again where we are with turn by turn directions he questions it saying things but I was at this other address or other business the other day and we weren't there. Multiple times making exclamations after every single direction and saying we having it wrong once again interjecting brining up how he thinks he should go in the completely opposite direction that he already tried that didn't work. And then at what I thought would be the very end asks what we do... after already verify we do what he thinks he does way before that and getting prices during which he kept changing how much he had and asking the same things over and over again that was answered. Then goes back and reasks about what we do and pricing changing what he has again multiple times. THe whole time mumbling and repeating himself saying what everytime we say anything. Then went back asking directions telling us again how he couldn't find us the other day because he went a totally different direction and then started telling us a story asking directions again etc. Then asks us again what we do and pricing again. Then goes on again about how he went the wrong direction and asking the exact same directions again. Then after all this tells us to stop so he can write stuff down then starts writing stuff down but has forgotten again and asks everything again multiple times.

A conversation that should've taken maybe 2 minutes (less really if you can use google maps) took 16 minutes and 11 seconds. The kicker being this is the 2nd time he's done this. He already got directions and address from us before going to the wrong place in the first place <.<

This is pretty much what it was gonna be. We have kids, and they are close friends with the other two kids. Party was basically let the kids play upstairs while the adults play board games (Catan, Pandemic, etc.) and drink. But ya we ended up postponing it since it is not like we can't do that a few weekends from now. I just feel so lame when people ask what we did for NYE and I'm like, "nothing."

Comcast being the very shitty company it is has slowly but surely been raising rates and adding various fees since I signed up and I haven't been paying too much attention but I look at the bill now and it's fucking $172 a month for basic cable and internet with $130 of it just being the basic bundle before the various fees. Meanwhile their advertised rate for this bundle is $79.99 Da fuq. Also they advertising that I'm getting 200 mbps but only clocking like 90. Also apparently they advertise just the internet at the same speed as costing $91. No wonder they hooked me into bundle even though I don't watch tv much

Aye I used to do internet only but they were like but man it's $30 less a month to bundle. And it was at first... they've since added all that plus a bunch more back in and continue to add more every month or so. Like pretty sure it was just $150 a couple of months ago. They aint got 50 here though. Goes 10, 25 then to 100. Though the 100 probably runs at 50 lol and that shit goes to like 10-25 anytime I do any downloading that actually uses anywhere near that much. And I think the upload is around 10 on all of them unless I get the gigabit. But yeah even the 25 is still $60 before fees and taxes which look like another $30 or so cause Comcast and bay area.

Could switch to Sonic they are much better customer service and such no data caps will even buy out other ISPs contract to get you to switch etc but they only offering 20 Mbps right now at my location and wont tell me when they bringing fiber to my part of town but only $53 after fees (and they are actually upfront about them too unlike Comcast)

So much fucking this. We don't miss the bill and are too busy to watch most of the stuff on tv anyway, we would rather go to dinner or movies.

My sister called me today and turns out her second mom who she was very close to when she lived here in California died a day after Christmas. Fuck 2016 again, but she called me today just when I needed it so here's to a better year at least.

Find a comcast store near your home and tell them you're paying X dollars for both, yet you use only internet and only getting about 45% of the speed you're paying for. That's how I got hooked up for 49.99 after taxes for 100mb down 7mb up.
