You people are lazy/scared shits.
You people are lazy/scared shits.
No one rings my doorbell without getting past my doormen. That means it's food or a rent demand.
I don't answer random calls because fuck you leave a message.
Has nothing to do with either of those.
If you can't even let your presence be known, you're probably someone I have no desire to see, lol. (like my cousin, who was/is fucking one of my neighbors, sits in his car and smokes weed w/ him all day, but for some reason likes to knock on the door here so she can go to the bathroom instead of using the one at his house)
So exactly 2 weeks ago an ongoing customer calls in saying they need immediate service. We normally only do them every 12 weeks so seems odd they really need it right away. They know we only are in area every 2 weeks on Tuesday mornings (and we remind them of that again) and but decided to call Tuesday afternoon on the day we were down there. We are like sorry we can't make it out down that far out of route even during an easy period forget during holidays call ahead a little. They get mad and say they gunna get someone else which is highly unlikely given our competitors often take longer than that to answer their phones lol. But whatevs we laugh at their threat and end the conversation.
Come today and the same people apparently couldn't find anyone and again decide to call us asking for immediate service literally just a couple of hours after we leave an area we are only in every 2 weeks. And we made sure they knew when we'd be there this week 2 weeks ago so this shit damn near has to be on purpose. Then they claim they thought us saying we'd be in area meant we were saying we were coming today. Bitch you said you were gunna call another company and you thought we were going to show up after that without another word or setting something up?
Had four cases pending trial. They were out of Germany, Italy, Hawaii, and Missouri. They all plead out except for one. Guess which one.
Good luck in Missouri
Have fun being flown over.
Phone starts telling me no room for updates despite 700mb+ of space. Decide to clear out some crap I haven't used in months. UI shorts out, have to soft reboot, hangs in loading screen. Now enjoying a factory reset.
Most annoying part is just gonna be setting various authenticators back up. Then again, hoping this isn't just my phone shitting the bed for good. Will know in a few minutes, I guess.
I've been sick since before returning from vacation and have now been forced to take 3 sick days UGH.
My doctor gave me some antibiotics and other nasal stuff/cough syrup so that's for sure helped since I'm not coughing up my lungs every 15 minutes. But officially swearing off January vacations for us since one or both of us gets sick EVERY TIME.
Me, all day at work for the last week: *yawn* "I'm so tired! When I get home I'm going straight to bed and sleeping all night!"
Me, every day this week when I get home: "FUCK YEAH!" *plays Witcher 3 until 3am*
Rinse and repeat. The Gamer Struggle got me again.
>.< he does it again... talking yesterday, drops in the middle of a conversation and haven't heard back.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
what are you gonna do. this is why online dating is maybe a bad idea for people with anxiety; too easy to imagine all the worst. not enough emotional cues to work with :3
fwiw he hasn't done anything wrong; this is just me being me.
You're acting like you're married.
No shit, Sherlock
Oddly enough, it helps to hear that from other people though
What I'm saying is, if it's that obvious on a forum then it's probably that obvious when you chat with him. You wonder why he bolts every now and then, but you probably know the reason why.
I've had issues with sleeping for the past year or so. Finally decided to pursue a sleep study at my doctor's recommendation, with him recommending me to an in network specialist that's part of their same doctor's office, just off site. I'm warned to dig in a bit before jumping in because insurance may not cover it. So I contact my insurance company, my doctor's billing company, and ask lots of billing related questions during my evaluation at the sleep center.
Billing office is useless, saying it depends on the work done by the specialist and that my insurance will decide the final outcome. The specialist and receptionist have no info to provide, laying it all on the insurance company. Insurance says that as long as it's an in-network carrier at a specialist center, I'll pay a $45 co-pay per visit and any treatment will be covered in full except for equipment or surgery, which'll hit the deductible. No hospitals and no out of network work and I'm golden. They even went on to say that if it was out of network, I wouldn't have a co-pay and would have to pay up front.
So, back in early November I go for the eval, pay a $45 co-pay, schedule a sleep study on December 23rd, even contacted the insurance company back to make sure everything was in the clear. It was. I go for the sleep study, everything checks out, and I have a follow up appointment today to go over the findings. I'm diagnosed with severe apnea and they wanna fast track me onto a CPAP. Figured it'd come to that so I was prepped. What I wasn't prepped for was the receptionist mentioning that I had a past due balance when I was scheduling my next sleep study to give the CPAP a whirl. She couldn't provide any further info and said I had to contact billing.
I'm pleasant, figured it was just some sorta cost not covered or an error. Nope, I've got a bill for $2,900 for the sleep study, insurance covered like $200 of it. After hashing it out with her and my insurance in a conference call, they said because the sleep center's office is on the campus of a hospital, all treatment is billed as a hospital visit, which isn't covered for squat by insurance. Nevermind that the hospital in question is over a mile from this office. I asked why the evals which are in the exact same office, even the same hallway, as the sleep study were covered but the study wasn't, they wouldn't provide a clear answer. They said I should have asked how the treatment would be billed. I fired back that I did, multiple times, to multiple organizations (insurance, doctor billing, and doctors), and that nothing remotely resembling what's now being fed to me was mentioned.
What's worse is because I thought everything was in the clear, I took that appointment on December 23rd. Of course, deductibles roll over on January 1st, so I can't even pay it off and use it towards the deductible for the rest of the work in the coming months. It's not even that $2,900 is some unfathomable amount of money, it's just the principle that what I thought was covered is now not, and because of the situation, I'm left facing another $2,900 bill if I want to go through with this 2nd visit, followed by paying for the equipment. I've pretty much been dinged $2,900 to be told "yep, your sleep is fucked."
Kind of a ramble, but I'm just pissed. I legitimately feel scammed.
Probably depends on the area but man my sleep study was decently cheaper like $800ish iirc then some more for the follow up and consults on what to do which I said no to (they wanted to pull my tonsils and break my nose into proper place)... should've been free since I set it up 9 months before I got out but they kept stalling and making me schedule meetings for paperwork to then schedule in home to then do another paper work to finally do the overnight with months inbetween each.
Either way though your situation sounds fucked. Did you get any of that in writing or know if any of them recorded? My recent talk with my insurance the person there was super helpful and when going over what was covered and how made special note that I should make sure the doctors bill them right as sometimes doctors wont bill in a way that the insurance covers for whatever reason. Sounds like some shenanigans to me but apparently wrong billing happens enough that insurance customer service warns their customers
