Fucking computers.

First printer stops working so in trying to fix it accidentally set one to default now it wont let me undefault only set a new one. I don't want a default for user since we use different printers based on what printing and so would rather have each program stay on certain printers. I mean yeah I can still use the right one but clicking to change each time I need to print on other one pretty annoying. Guess I can try fucking with the registry. What's the worse that could happen.

And now quickbooks is back to being doing this retarded thing it does sometimes but only on my comp for some reason. Basically what it does is when it searches for and finds a certain customer or if I'm on that customers invoice it says customer doesn't exist and to either choose a real one or quickly set up a new one... but if I setup with the name on the invoice it then says hey dummy that customer exists... ya know the one we just told you doesn't and brought you to this menu. Best part is once I get to that invoice I'm basically locked out. Can't exit out of that invoice to go to another one without creating a customer for it can't even close the program without end task. And of course doesn't happen on the bosses comp

Went and saw a pretty cool property this weekend about an hour commute from work. Has a small, two-story house and a barn with a half-finished apartment. Asked the agent to get a little more information on the work that was done.

Turns out they didn't have permits for any of the work that was done, there are no drawings for anything, there are no grading surveys, and they have no record of the size of the septic that was installed. Wife and I originally were looking at it because the separate apartment in the barn was cool and we don't need a large house. These guys are looking for 175k for this house, though. It's been on the market over a year and I think they're just trying to throw someone else in this hole they dug for themselves.

To get all this work they did approved and permitted by the town without any drawings or information on what was done or what's in the ground will be a gigantic nightmare. It's too bad because the property is fairly well landscaped, completely fenced in, and has some nice extra (unfinished) touches. It looks to me like they were stopped by the city while in the middle of doing the work because they didn't have permits and decided it wasn't worth the hassle of getting everything permitted.

On to the next houses I guess.

House hunting sucks but seems to be you dodged a huge bullet by actually digging about it now. That sounds all sorts of fucking nope to me. I hope you find something great soon.

I got a burrito from the local Chipotle, which is probably the worst Chipotle ever. All their snafus before this have been in my favor. Previously I ended up getting 4 burritos with 4 guac for $7, as well as 2 other free burritos, because they hire people who can't handle coupons. I noticed those burritos were solidly below average for Chipotle (n=6), but I wasn't willing to fully abandon the place.

Tonight I went in and got a burrito that was probably the worst burrito I've ever eaten from Chipotle.
1) They ripped the tortilla
2) Totally top-to-bottom heterogeneous distribution of ingredients. I was eating a salad and then meat and then rice.
3) I swear that they ran out of salt and just didn't say anything. The rice and beans both tasted unsalted. Good thing the salsa had some flavor, because otherwise that would have been a pound and a half of weird, bug-like textures and not a whole lot else.

In the Bay Area that's a steal since you can save easily 150-200k by adding a commute to your day. Homes that are 20 years or more and unremodeled are going for 650-900k yet add in a commute to a slightly smaller or out of the way area you can find new homes for $550ish and slightly more , so it's a no brainer for many.

But we've recently realized buying a large home makes little sense to us when we are so busy and enjoy traveling and don't entertain or have much going on socially or personally. Likely we will look into a townhouse/condo and pay the up charge to be closer to home unless a the market crashes by then which is possible.

Shit mine if they rip a tortilla they throw them out right away. Watch a guy get a batch that kept sticking together and had to throw half away.
Though they never seem to ever salt anything and when I ask for some they have to go looking for it. Even the chips are unsalted lol

It's worse in LA. There are people who have 3 hour commutes, one way.
Though it really isn't "consider", generally it's because there's no choice in affordable housing.
