I'd prefer doctor but I really don't care. I went to school to be a doctor, not important.
The difference between mister and doctor is academic and respectful, but it's not like calling me mister suddenly will make my degree disappear.

Can't I just laugh in their faces though or say things really sarcastically that I can pretend wasn't but clearly was?
Oh and for reference with did "Name MD" so we were still titling him as a doctor just not a PhD doctor.
In a professional environment such other colleagues or working environments I would of course address as such. I work in a car dealership and in my case some try to use their title as leverage to bend the rules to be special snowflakes so that's what I'm referring to.
I'm actually happy to address them properly when treated with respect ( which most do) , I just hate the notion that anyone is inherently "better" due to said title and try to flaunt it as if we are inferior.
Is he an MD PhD or just a PhD because ain't nobody wanna be labeled an MD if they ain't one on any sort of printed records
I prefer when people refer to me as Phake Doctor, which is what Ph.D. stands for.
You may not give a fuck about their titles but they do. From Certified IT's to Ph.D's ought to be given their respect. Y'all niggas from the Congo or something? Get the fuck out of here lol.
Just tell him you're not allowed to lie on your records.
Since we've been going underway, I think it's only been one time where we pulled in on time. Every other time, we've gotten fucked over by bad weather and the only reason it pisses most of us off is because my CO is a psychopath.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck dumbest customer ever. Guy comes in before we are open so I ask him if he needs to watch us do the work or can he drop it off and we will do it when we open. He acts confused what does that mean. Eh once is fairly common as a lot of people don't really listen at first. I ask again enunciate, use synonyms, describe the process, explain reasons etc. He still doesn't understand what watching or seeing means <.<. For like 3 minutes I go thru this with him either saying I don't understand or ignoring it completely and just saying he wants to show me the work he wants done. Goddamn this is like some 1st grade level English comprehension
You guys should just shut down the front office. Seems like all of your customers are putting everyone around them in danger just by breathing.
Yesterday my manager e-mails me asking if I can reschedule our weekly meeting to today at 11am. I accept the change, redo my morning schedule so i'm not wrapped up in anything that may make me lose track of time for the meeting. Show up, he's got another meeting going on and basically wants me to reschedule during lunch which I shot down. This happens way more often then it fucking should and sometimes makes me regret taking this promotion two years ago.
Should just let them go for the good of the gene pool and the economy. It's like the Purge only they die by their stupidity. I'd watch that show
Driving in NYC has made me hate people more than I already did. I tell my wife all the time, I wish I had a tank and that Social Darwinism was an accepted idea in modern society.
Pedestrian runs out in front of me against the walk signal? Run 'em over.
Cab decides to make a left in front of me while I'm trying to go straight? Run 'em over.
Driver is staring down at their phone and drifting between lanes? Run 'em over.
Driver's lane comes to a stop so they cut me of, forcing me to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting them? That wouldn't happen cause I'm in a tank! Run 'em over.
By carless I mean, no personal cars in Manhattan. Delivery trucks, taxis, buses.
