Zero protection on digital goods. When googling the buyers address, it's some remote resort park in Independence California. Probably complete fake name, address, etc. Buyer had numerous other purchases on Ebay after mine so they knew what they did.

They claimed they never authorized the charge. That's why it screams scammer. Key was used and they don't report the supposed unauthorized charge from 11/20/16 until 02/02/17? Yeah right. I forget the time allotted to file a charge back, but I want to say it's 180 days. I rarely sell anything on Ebay anymore anyways, but it just irks me that people can be so petty that they'll file a charge back just to get a free $15 video game.

Mint chip is pretty good but I think cookie dough or red velvet is my new fav. That said the difference in calories and sugar between the 2 is kind of huge so hard to apply the same metrics

I have a bad habit of just deferring to my father's advice on financial matters. He's the dean of a top 50 business school and has even more letters after his name than I do.

For my trip I was just planning to call my bank and let them know I'd be out of the country for a few days and change a couple hundred dollars in currency so I can mainly pay cash, then just convert it all back when I return.

Typically if you escalate this eBay will bite the bullet and not deduct you. Especially if you can prove the key was used. eBay is a bunch of fucktards that will always back the customer. Until the exact second you call them. Then they will flip flop faster than a politician.

I'll most likely call tomorrow. Not going to bother with it today. But say we're all pricks, once every 6 months we could go on Ebay, buy a steam key of a $60+ game (as long as they are sending the key and it's not being mailed) and then wait a few months and do a charge back. Free games for all! I hate people.

Yeah start being an adult and get a fucking credit card. I work for a luxury car dealership and can't tell you how many people who we get who get angry when we tell them their lack of credit is WORSE than bad credit. We can finance bad credit , with no credit history good luck.

I understand not wanting debt and there's no need to , I myself am rectifying mistakes now paying shit off and keeping said cards out of my wallet but it's definitely important to maintain. It's a vital life skill that far too many of each generation take for granted.

Fucker on Ebay issued a charge back from a Steam key I sold on 11/20/16. Of course Paypal sides with them. Cherry on top is I also got charged a $20 fee.

When I had people fuck me on ebay, ebay basically stopped caring once 30 days passed. If this guy tried to go through paypal and not ebay itself, I'd instead be bitching at ebay about it. Or put another way, ebay presumes that if 30 pays post-transaction without incident, everything went okay. There's really no excuse for this with a digital key, while in my case, hardware failure is something harder to predict. Dude's scamming straight up.
