Charbroiled as well.
Charbroiled as well.
I prefer the mountainous version.
Get notice 3 weeks ago from IT department that requests all employees not to work this coming weekend, either onsite or remotely, due to a system-wide network migration that goes from end of business day Friday through Sunday.
Supervisor requests people to work this Saturday. Our work requires some network access. Bring this up and get shot down. Bring up quality implications, end up pissing off the supervisor that he exits the room to discuss work instructions with the people willing to work on Saturday.
Thank god I'm going on vacation from this clown show of a workplace. Maybe I can get lucky and score Hamilton tickets via lottery when I'm in Chicago.
gdi internet acting buggy so ad blocking not working all the time. Watching vids on youtube so gets pretty annoying. Could just restart the browser but then I have to open everything back up again
Eldest cat seems to have ear mites and it's really irritating her. Our usual vet clinic is closed right now. Is it something that needs to be immediately addressed or can it wait til first thing in the morning? My concern is that she scratches her ears too much.
Also, barnacles are fucking amazing if y'all never tried them.
And while not a seafood, gotta give a shout out to escargot while at it, mushroom stuffed escargot are heavenly
First off.
You're all fucking stupid and wrong.
Second off.
Nantucket Bay scallops are the best shellfish by a hundred fucking miles.
If we're gonna do ranks.
1. Bay scallops
2. Sea urchin roe
3. Abalone
4. Crawfish
5. King crab / West coast crab
6. Maryland Crab / Louisiana Crab
7. Oysters
8. Regular scallops
9. All forms of shrimp except the Chinese ones.
10. All the weird ones like whelks, sea snails and other stuffs
11. Lobster
12. Whatever else I forgot like a dumdum
Yes, I think lobster is stupidly overrated and wildly overpriced.
Umm, the fact that you don't have mussels listed make you stupid, and crawfish ahead of crab and shrimp is also stupid. Your list is very flawed.
I enjoy lobster but do agree that it's over rated and priced
Are we talking raw or cooked whelks and snails? changes everything. Clams mussels? steamers motherfucker.
lobster too low shrimp too low I can't take you seriously anymore you've ruined everything for me. I hope someone walks by you and yells WRONG in your face for me.
I'll be at momosan tomorrow I'll do it tomorrow.
This is why you are all Sweaty Dick Punchers.
Also I forgot to put mussels and clams on the list. My bad pals. Mussels would be equal to oysters. Clams are very dependent on preparation. I love steamers and occasionally raw but I don't like clams casino most of the time.
Okay you made up some ground there but still am disappoint.
I can generally get behind this list. I like sea scallops over bay scallops, though. Probably have just had shitty bay scallops, as I don't generally order them.
I'm also not a big fan of shrimp so I'd put that with lobstah. The only time I get lobster is when I'm in RI and we get it from the stand on the pier across the street from where we stay, where all the fishing boats come in. Grab some lobster salad early in the morning to have with lunch.
Going to go to Flex Mussels next Saturday for my dad's b-day; just to make you happy, Zet.
My next question is, where do I get good creole/cajun food in NYC? I've done Sugar Freak in Astoria, and while it's pretty good, I feel like the quality is slipping a bit. When I was about 13 we went to New Orleans for a couple days and I loved everything I ate, which is saying something for 13 year old me. Haven't had that same feeling with anything up north.
There aren't any good places. I'm a spoiled Cajun who goes to New Orleans a lot though.
Great Jones Cafe is ok. CajunSea is bad. The Boil is terrible. Claw Daddy's is terrible. Bo's isn't even really Cajun/Creole.
Mara's Homemade was the best you could hope for and they closed because the city put a fucking bike lane in front of it. They were the only place that consistently flew in crawfish during the season and did em right. Not in fucking plastic bags like those fucking shitsuckers at the Boil/Claw Daddy's.
Have fun at Flex. That place is the titties.
Welp, guess we'll have to go to the Jazz Festival soon instead, then.
Cool, I'll take a look.
