This is all very enlightening.
This is all very enlightening.
The asshole who left my little sister for dead is somehow going to "drug court" despite never admitting to the fact he was under the influence when he ran her over. Having my retainer look over the case and paying a complainant fee. This shit sounds so retardedly wrong it can't be right. My little sister is over this and just wants to move on, but I refuse to allow this asshole to the roam the streets on probation with the only slight to his life is having to take a piss test every month.
Got my scumbag roommate out today officially. He agreed yesterday to clean his bedroom and bathroom and mountain of cigarette butts off the back deck. Did he do those things? Of course not. What a cunt.
so about 5.5 weeks with cluster headaches now. First 2 weeks, they were manageable, following few weeks they got worse but still not as bad as they can be. I had 1 out of 2 of the meds left over from my last cycle(verapamil) which is used to help prevent them during a cycle. I hadn't bothered to go get my other one(Imitrex) since they hadn't been really vicious this time. Well yesterday was a disaster that made me regret not getting the 2nd med.
1PM I get hit with my first one(probably the worst out of the 3), pain was off the scales, type of pain that would make you redefine your pain scale, only lasts 45 minutes so bonus!(least I thought), until 2:20pm I get another one come on......... Had just woken my son up from his nap, so I rush to drop him off at the sitter and plan going to work but pain off the scales again so fuck that no way I'm making it to work, least not on time. Get back home and just can't kick it so decide to call pharmacist to see if I had any refills. I do! But pharmacist tells me she can't refill it cause it was originally prescribed in 2015..... I lash out at her badly(I'm a very calm, collected and polite person, not in any way like me to do this) I explain to her it's a recurring condition which is why I have THIRTEEN refills, but it's against pharmacy policy cause of the date(not her fault, I owe her a huge apology) so I get her to fax my Dr and call me back asap. Headache finally subsides at about 4:30, still have a lingering effect but I'm good for now, don't get a call back from pharmacy however....
8:45 get hit with my 3rd one, thankfully kids are in bed and wife was super sleepy so she had gone to lay down as well, house is nice and quiet and dark but pain is through the roof, woke my wife up with my pacing and grunting she wants to take me to hospital, I just want her to leave me alone, thankfully it only lasted until 10pm
Called pharmacy this morning, still no response from my Drs office, so call them and they say it takes about a day so pharmacy should hear back by this afternoon. Still haven't heard back from my pharmacy yet and they're closing soon, thankfully they haven't been horrid today but fuck these bitches for taking so god damned long, could have just gone to Drs office and got a fucking prescription
I'm sorry that sucks. I had serious issues with headaches about 2 years ago and Imitrex actually made me so sick I'm now allergic to it.
However a low dose Notriptylene ( I use it for migraines/anxiety/tailbone issues) has been lifesaving along with occasional torodol shots to speed it up and daily Topamax.
I don't know what options you have but it might be worth seeking out a new doctor since that one sounds horrible.
I hear cluster headaches make you want to kill yourself. I imagine my kidney stone but repeatedly over time and I can sympathizeI hope this round passes soon.
Imitrex does suck, I take it in the nasal spray and the drip gives me the worst gag reflex I've ever experienced, feels like I'm gonna break a rib it's so brutal and makes me feel sick as well, however it does help pretty quickly and it's been the only thing that I've tried and does help
Options kind of suck, over the past 10-15 years(since I started getting them) I read up on it every time they kick in to see if there's been any advancements, and there's nothing, this condition gets zero funding so no surprise that there hasn't been any advancements.
I like my Dr, he's passionate about his job, I've had the same Dr since I was a teen, the only thing that sucks now is he joined a team who run a residency through the University so it's a pain to get in and see him if I need to
The worst of them do yes, yesterday being the worst of them. This cycle hasn't been as bad as some I've had in the past, I've had 2 cycles where every single headache was as bad as what I had yesterday. 2 years ago being the most recent, I had to burn up 3/4's of my vacation in Feb/Mar, was taking 3-4 days off every week, which was a double fail.
Pulled the left rhomboid in my back; the third time ive damaged it in my life, so I'm in a monumental amount of pain. Got an Oxy from my dad, and made the boneheaded mistake of taking it on an empty stomach. Now my back hurts and my body is on fire.
Manager mother is on death bed, so she is traveling across Canada to deal with situation. My assistant is going through a possible divorce and may return to Wales after going to her grandfathers funeral. And another manager in another department is old and is still recovering from having her bowel being worked on.
God, all this is effecting my bonus this year.

Reading all the meds you guys are taking and I'm glad they work for you. None of them worked on my migraines. Now I just don't take anything and deal with it. Which sucks. Usually after I throw up a few times I'll feel slightly better.
Dem drugs
Caught a stomach bug from someone at my niece's first birthday party, got a whole bunch of other people sick too. Puked from 11 last night to about 6 this morning. Fun.
Life sucks eh?
My eyes and back are fucking worked from doing 40 hours of computer work in the last 3 days at my desk. Constant Excel and data pulls. I could barely enjoy game night last night with my GF and another couple because my eyes just wanted to unfocus and daze out.
I'm seeing Logan tonight though. So that's fucking awesome.
Huh. I get that unfocusing thing all the time. Always just assumed it was cos i was tired. Never realized it had to do with computers but now that i think of it it does line up.
Anyway, i think ive mentioned before that my mom is a borderline hoarder. Shes getting better but has a ton of stuff. So my parents bought a house in duluth. Nice, big, plenty of space, they love duluth, so yay! Thats a win. Theyre moving out of their old house and their duluth apartment. My GF and i are moving into their old house so we can save up our money for a house of our own. Yay! Thats a win.
Heres the fail: we all gave notice on our apartments for march 1st, and a week later the furnaces in the new house died and needed replacing. So we ended up moving 3 apartments and a house in a span of 2 weeks. Obviously, the apartments took priority, so while we finished in time, my gf and i are left with a quandry: the house is still full of my parents stuff. Were crammed into a few sections they got clear and are doing the aisles-of-boxes thing and i hate it and feel like shit for making my gf endure this shit. Shebunderstands but it still bothers me.
Hopefully this weekend my dad will get enough stuff out that we can start unpacking.
The key is to find stuff that you can just leave outside. Then leave it outside.
Yeah, outside is crowded too.
Burn it all down?
Got an email this morning my AMEX was declined for a recurring subscription. I know that's not possible since the card is paid off each month. Log in and they posted a fraud alert so had to verify info then re-do said subscription. I mean I appreciate that they are on top of fraud stuff but they had no issues charging it last month lol.
