Random Fail: First World Problems

Had my weekly meeting scheduled at 4pm. Show up, wait a minute as he's in a meeting that started at 3 and was supposed to be done at 4. Comes out and tells me he needs about 10 more minutes and will call me when he's done. He just now called me and asked me to move it to tomorrow as it ran way late.

A STEM school with Arts added into it. They are project-based schools. Basically kids do projects constantly that incorporate all the STEM (and art) subjects, which is how they learn. I actually have a certificate for project-based teaching. It's really effective in high school at least. A lot of times the projects are about solving a problem, so it really promotes critical thinking skills. I don't know how they set it up for little kids. I am going to try and take a tour next week.

The A is sort of a PR thing happening lately for schools to push the arts, which while doesn't make much sense, I don't care if it means that art is getting included.

All kids are required to have chromebooks and they can learn Spanish, Mandarin, or Hebrew early on. Guess they provide Rosetta Stone to every kid.

it ended up being something really simple that is cured within a week by antibiotics. but DUDE. DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT. I don't know why she didn't just send the test results online like always.

In my continuing fail with Samsung they still haven't shipped my phone case. Call them and they confirm it's still not on back order and still just pending in the warehouse and can't even give me an eta. Also they say they can't give etas and the person that promised me 1-3 days on Tuesday was lying. Fuck man over 2 weeks and you can't even tell me how much longer it will take you to grab it, throw it in a box and give it to fedex? Luckily it looks like they only charged my card so far for what I received which is weird because it was 1 order but works out now

While waiting for my LYFT , watched a delivery semi totally rip off part of his front bumper/side by trying to run over some large decorative boulders. Then proceeded to run over said broken piece before inspecting the damage. So much fail.

Not my fail but neighbors. Leased a brand new honda civic and the very first night in his parking space outside his apartment someone jacked all 4 tires and rims.

So, our house has a window that is perfect for growing plants. Went to Daiso (Japanese $1.50 store) and got some pots to grow some veggies/herbs. They had some long planters that I passed on at the time. Went to the store and got some seeds. Turns out the lettuce ones I bought were one of those strip ones (way to not read the label), so they wouldn't work well in a small pot. I have some bigger pots left over from the old owners, so I figured I'd put some of the lettuce seeds in that until I got around to going to Daiso again (not near, but not insanely far).
