Rolled my ankle p terribly on Thursday night. Sprained the fuck out of it. Had to bail on like 60% of my bachelor party activities because I couldn't fucking walk. Had to hobble through the airport today but thankfully all the poors were flying so I still walked right through security and was the first on the plane.

I'm guessing you sprung for the TSA pre check. How much did that cost you and how much time do you think it saves you per trip?

I have Global Entry. 100 bucks every 5 years. Works out to about a dollar per segment or less.

precheck is only 85, better deal if most of your travel is domestic.

Man, I figured there'd be some sort of catch, along with it being fuck all expensive to try to keep it to business people only. I couldn't justify it right now as we only fly maybe 1-3 times a year and typically for short flights. If I was doing more flights and longer ones, i'd totally get it at that price point.

precheck not all its cracked up to be imo. i've gotten into regular security lines before because precheck was so long. still huge lines in airports in vegas and DC as well and I'm like damn chill fam.

Yeah think the longest TSA line I was in was 20 minutes leaving Orlando, and that was mainly due to one machine picking up something strange which slowed everything down.

Unless you travel constantly, if you can't afford 20 minutes in line you should probably get to the airport sooner.

Doesn't stop them from trying. My experience in the military is they will try a lot of things they can't technically do. And a lot of people just don't know better or are easily cowed so it works. You'd be surprised how much easier my life became when I started just saying fuck you I know the rules

Oh trust me I know. I left active military about 6-7 years ago, but I still know the damn game. These civilian retards think they can bully and get away with this kind of shit, and they do it because they do get away with it with weaker, less confrontational, individuals. When I transferred to the pentagon office in July 2015, I thought it was gonna be the coolest shit ever. Little did I realize it's a gigantic clusterfuck of reminding who's dick is bigger than who's. Every. God. Damn. Day.
