God talking to this guy.
Akshay: I'd like to set a date for an appointment is that alright with you
Me: Yes but I work so if it's a weekday during the day I would have to ask boss before confirming
Akshay: Can I make an appointment for tomorrow at 8am to 10 am
Me: Again I work so if it's a weekday during the day I would have to ask boss before confirming
Akshay: Ok we are available next Tuesday to Saturday which would work for you.
Me: Again I work so if it's a weekday during the day I would have to ask boss before confirming
Akshay: So sunday then?
Me: Saturday is the weekend... <.<
I mean if youre literally just repeating the same thing word for word you brought that shit on yourself. "Saturday would work." would have been the normal human being response in that line of conversation. or at least just phrasing it different. "Well Saturday would work for sure, and the others might work, but I wouldn't be able to confirm those without asking my boss."
unless you're paraphrasing, the only fail I see is poor communication skills on both sides, but especially yours since you're the one in the thread.
Drinking my morning coffee and my cat wants to be petted. OK cat, pet pet. Cat hair flies into my coffee.
My fwp of the day is that I am shit tier at travel deals. I remember hearing that Expedia etc are shit. If so, where should I be looking for good prices on intercontinental travel (Specifically US<->NZ)?
I was paraphrasing and also being lazy using copy paste for those lines a bit. But was also getting kind of frustrated at that point since the guy clearly wasn't listening, was esl or a bot and had shown so before and after in the conversation. Like repeatedly told him I can only confirm problems with wired internet and several times in the conversation asked me can you confirm problems are not just wifi and are wired too. The worst being after I specifically made sure we were now switching to testing wifi because everything before was all on wired and even stated surprise that the wifi was actually faster and then immediately asked me again for like the 5th so are their problems on wired <.<. Even more so he kept reseting my modem without telling me mid conversation cutting us out of chat
We booked an all inclusive through Expedia, bundled flight and hotel and they raped every other option.
Leave Wednesday for it.
For USA to NZ, remember that their seasons are reversed. There are also a few major sporting events each year that will drive your costs (hotel, car rental) through the roof.
What's your target date range?
Met Newt Gringich this morning and HOLY SHIT did the dude look half dead lol.

Got fired from my dispatcher/account manager job of 3 years today. Confused, I kept quizzing them in the discharge meeting about why. I'm not a perfect worker, but I definitely pushed to do the best I could and expected the same of others, no attendance problems, never had any productivity issues, etc. Finally they relented and said that it was reported by a female worker that I threatened them. Even more confused, I pushed for a reason, and they said I pushed my chair (it's a rolling chair...) out from my desk and stood up quickly, which threatened a female worker. Manager went on to say I have to be careful of my actions around women because they can't be trusted to take things correctly.
What the fuck?
Also if that's actually phrased it holy fuck. I mean it's not completely untrue per se (example your situation) but manager saying you can't trust women would blow up huge lol
100% truthful. Where would you start on something like that? Nothing is recorded, it'd all be he-said-she-said except for the paperwork I signed off on acknowledging my termination, which said something to the effect of "stood up in an aggressive manner threatening a co-worker." There was no meeting setup and I wasn't told who the employee was, just the day of the occurrence, which didn't stand out to me at all because I push my chair out from my desk and stand up multiple times a day. God damn rolly chairs were my doom.
That took me back too when he said it, specially with everything being so PG and SJW in the world.
I have never done it myself but I would talk to a lawyer. You, personally, cannot prove a negative, so it would be your company's responsibly to prove they had a meeting with you and your coworker to discuss it. And they would need documentation of what they said to you, and what they said to the coworker.
If they just said, "Well she said it happened," that shouldn't be enough in court if it means they never relayed it to you.
