I was paraphrasing and also being lazy using copy paste for those lines a bit. But was also getting kind of frustrated at that point since the guy clearly wasn't listening, was esl or a bot and had shown so before and after in the conversation. Like repeatedly told him I can only confirm problems with wired internet and several times in the conversation asked me can you confirm problems are not just wifi and are wired too. The worst being after I specifically made sure we were now switching to testing wifi because everything before was all on wired and even stated surprise that the wifi was actually faster and then immediately asked me again for like the 5th so are their problems on wired <.<. Even more so he kept reseting my modem without telling me mid conversation cutting us out of chat

Don't use online travel agencies unless you are 100% committed to the dates. Their change policies are even worse than the airlines.

Got fired from my dispatcher/account manager job of 3 years today. Confused, I kept quizzing them in the discharge meeting about why. I'm not a perfect worker, but I definitely pushed to do the best I could and expected the same of others, no attendance problems, never had any productivity issues, etc. Finally they relented and said that it was reported by a female worker that I threatened them. Even more confused, I pushed for a reason, and they said I pushed my chair (it's a rolling chair...) out from my desk and stood up quickly, which threatened a female worker. Manager went on to say I have to be careful of my actions around women because they can't be trusted to take things correctly.

I have never done it myself but I would talk to a lawyer. You, personally, cannot prove a negative, so it would be your company's responsibly to prove they had a meeting with you and your coworker to discuss it. And they would need documentation of what they said to you, and what they said to the coworker.

If they just said, "Well she said it happened," that shouldn't be enough in court if it means they never relayed it to you.
