Now you really should threaten her, maybe In the parking lot when she's leaving for the day. Better yet hide in the backseat of her car.

Keep in mind that if you live in an "at will employment" state they can fire you for any non-discriminatory reason and you're left with no recourse.
If that doesn't apply to you, lawyer up.
Just from a google search: Michigan is an “at-will” employment state. This means that absent an employment contract, both the employer and employee are free to terminate the employment at any given time, and for any legitimate purpose. Apr 26, 2017
That's where I'd be looking. Was it truly legitimate. Regardless, ridiculous way to be fired. At least you'll most likely get unemployment.
I dunno who it was so that's a lot of stalking, going to be too busy looking for a good job so I don't fall behind in 4~ months once savings run out.
It is an at-will state, Ohio. Looking up some info now and getting a list of some local lawyers to contact on Monday. It sounds like not much can be done until I contact the EEOC anyways. From what I'm finding about at-will states, discriminatory acts fall outside at-will rulings, but I don't recall anything specific on the signed form that would indicate discrimination so it'd prolly fall back to a he-said-she-said. I'm not finding anything about a mandatory meeting between disputing parties prior to termination so I'm not sure how strong of a leg that is.
Not sure if I've got the balls for this, I'd be burning a solid reference that has in writing that they'd give good referrals for me since the reason for the termination didn't hedge on performance.
So my supervisor decided to change jobs and shipped me a 20k+ job that I have no idea what to do and will affect the whole production
Well if they really do like you that much and they understand that it's bs they'd probably understand why you fighting it and if anything came of it would probably look just as bad on her. On other hand they might just being saying that to keep you from blowing it up lol. That said not sure how good a reference it would be. Future employers will be wondering why such a good fit didn't work and read between the lines unless you want to feed them a careful crafted truth
My brother has to go out in 30 minutes but he won't let me chose what to watch on tv. He'll only release the remote after he leaves, which means I can't watch any film from start(they're all starting now). *shakes fist at sky*
Stab him.
Tell mom?

We're kind of adult.
Totally forgot to ask.
What's the origin city?
I'm not sure about Ohio, but in California all an employer can say is that you worked for them. They can say all the positive things they want, but anything more negative then "Yes so and so worked for us" can get them in huge trouble. My previous employer finally stopped responding to any reference requests at all after getting hammered by the state.
Also if your position was union, get hold of your shop steward ASAP.
I was referring to the part where you are an adult posting about having to watch a 30 minute show.
Yeah but word gets around in other ways depending on the job. My boss knows like all the board member people in the area, and some people who have left on not so good terms magically don't find jobs in the area.
