WHO THE FUCK DISSES AN EXCUSE TO EAT TURKEY HOLY SHIT YOU ARE ALL TERRIBLE AND ON NOTICE.
Or you could be an adult and eat whatever you want whenever you want.
So does mine.
A week ago some friends threw a "Shrimp Fest '13" for my birthday, basically everyone brought some kind of shrimp dish. My mom made a shrimp dip and dropped it off, shrimp, cream cheese, w/e, was really good. That was Monday, on Saturday night after partying pretty hard and drinking straight liquor for days, I had a great idea. Took the leftover shrimp dip (a lot left, 5 days old) and made a giant 5 egg omelette with some pepperjack cheese. I ate about half, was delicious.
I typically end such a night drinking a couple glasses of water. About an hour into sleep I woke up feeling sick as fuck and b-lined for the bathroom. For the first time in my life, I had the full understanding of exactly what projectile vomiting is... Egg, shrimp and a shit ton of liquor and water all over the places.
I woke up a few hours later and went to the store across the street, fill my basket with 10 or so different juices, gatorade, vitamin water and such. I've got shit to do, I can't afford to be sick. In line all is well, some small talk with the clerk and all the sudden I feel like I can't stand so I grab the the counter hella tight. Clerk kinda laughs like "you okay?" and then everything just faded to black. I couldn't hear or see anything, at all. Came to on the floor with people asking my medical history and shit. I tell them I just need one of those juices I bought. Take a few minutes to drink a kiwi strawberry Snapple on the Safeway floor and then took my ass to Carl's Jr. for a Double Bacon Western w/ cheese.
I don't know, I'm not an alarmist but it was a failing experience and considering this is my primary grocery store for many years... Embarrassing. lol
Sounds like a good time to me.
Best thing to get you back on your feet is to drink more. Have at ye!
I knew what was going to happen the moment I read "Shrimp Fest '13". Fainting in public would be so embarrassing, glad I've never experienced it. I've seen my brother faint once and it's kinda alarming when it happens but funny after (twas the sight of blood that did it).
i faint all the time, for no better reason than my body says "fuck you i'm out"
usually happens when im really sick, hungry, tired, or hot. best thing to do is, as soon as my vision starts to star up, sit down. immediately. trying to stand still and wait it out is asking for an injury. i fucked up my back that way. fainted in the shower, smacked my spine on the faucet on the way down. had a pinched nerve for a few weeks after; had to have a chiropractor set it right. the first time it happened, though, was in choir class in high school. was like 9th grade i think. standing there singing, pass out, no one catches me, knock chairs all over the place. a few of the people around me had the grace to apologize for not catching me, lol. my school was pretty nice, in retrospect.
My internet price is going up, and my service is being downgraded.
Bought a house at 4.35, got down to 4.1 this week, unable to refinance for another month.
Cmonnnnnn government, stay f'd up.
Not really my problem so much as it's amusing. Watched office services spend 45 minutes trying to figure out how to sink screws into a brick pillar to hang the dual mounting bracket for the 60 inch flat screen that's going up. Laughed heartily as I walked by and noticed one of them was upside down. Now these idiots are trying to force the tv into the brackets. These guys are fucking retarded lol.
I've never fainted though I felt like I might a few times. I have really strong power of will though so that might help, but I wonder what it would actually be like to faint. I just can't imagine actually losing consciousness without wanting to. Even when doctors try to put me down with drugs I have to willingly relax and let it put me to sleep or else it takes ages and ages and the nurses get bored/angry D:
Some seemingly drunk guy totaled my parked car. He hit it so hard the first time it pushed almost the entire back end up onto the curb. Then, one of my neighbors saw it and came outside, so the guy tried to get away quickly and hit my car two more times trying to turn around. Now I have no car, and may have to wait two days for the adjuster to come out and look at it.
I've never fainted, though I know it's not from sheer willpower. Passing out drunk, that's another story.
Monday was Columbus day. The bank where I work was not closed (but the news announced that we were, who are we to correct them). Hardly any clients or customers all day, so we spent the entire day eating wings and watching TV. I would have rather been home.
I have fainted before. But I could probably count the times on one hand. Once when I was really sick, once when I was pregnant, etc. Really came down to, I knew it was coming, felt dizzy, tried to listen to myself breathing (idkwhy, natural reaction?), and the next thing I knew I was on the floor.
I hit the outside of my hand on the metal thing that catches a door latch walking out of a bathroom once and it like reset my fucking nervous system or something. So much pain, and I just hit the ground. Was the weirdest and dumbest fucking thing ever.
I was leaving a friend's place, and he has a cracked piece of pavement right at the bottom of his steps, and I twisted my ankle when I stepped on it. It hurt, not that bad, but my whole leg just went limp and gave way. It was the weirdest sensation, because I could feel my ankle in pain, but everything between that and my hip was just numb.
