The same thing sort of happened to me like 10 years ago. I was running across the road outside my dad's house and my left leg just gave way without warning. I ended up having to do a roll to get out of the way of oncoming traffic. Bruised and scraped my knee up.

Oh god, I had something similar happen to me. I twisted my ankle jumping down from a train car, and it hurt like a sonofabitch. 2 seconds later, my vision goes dark and I just fall over. Half a moment later everything goes back to normal, and I feel like a complete idiot. Had a collegue with me who was equally dumbstuck with what I was doing.

She got a partial plate, but no idea if the cops will really try. She got the make and model, and the car was already missing a bumper, so if they find it it will be easy to confirm it's the same car, but who knows if they'll even really look.

Had a similar situation happen to me once.

Parked my car on the street because I had some guys fixing the driveway for me. Went outside for work and saw the back end laying on my front lawn (no idea why the car alarm didn't trigger). Called the cops and went inside to look at video (have a quarter-sized camera just above my doorbell to see the front door and the driveway and part of the front yard). Around 3 AM, a car flies down the road and stops just beyond my car. It showed the person attempt to parallel park just behind my car (which was an insane stunt of backing up till the tail end hit the curb and driving up and trying again). There's not a lot of traffic on the street and my car was the only one out there so I dunno why this person chose to park behind me. Last attempt the guy cuts it too short and takes the back bumper off. Gets out and surprise it's a drunk asshole who could barely stand. He tries to put it back on then just hefts it up on the lawn and drives off. Never did find out who it was.

Today I'm stuck on admin duties so I'm bored as hell on a workstation with almost no browsing privileges. Chrome and Firefox block this site completely. Guess they forgot to take I.E. off the computer cause that's the slow shit I'm using to browse!

Hey I tried to tell them not to mount it without attaching it to a stud. They insisted the 1/2 drywall would hold it. I AM FREE FROM BLAME!!

The insurance adjuster said he won't be ready with his estimate until Monday, so I'm just stuck without a car until then. Awesome.

So, I'm thinking of going on a massive murder spree. The last month of my life has been fucking stressful.

A month ago I had to go into the hospital because I didn't shit for 4 days and was in massive pain. Ten days in the hospital with no food and fighting to get any pain meds I was finally able to poop. About 3 hours after I got out of the hospital I packed my shit and moved in with my girlfriend. Awesome right? Would be if my mom didn't hate the very core of my gf and call/text me 100 times a day to tells what a massive mistake I made and I'm killing myself and other bullshit.

Then on Wednesday I told disability that I moved in with my gf. They told me that my gf and I are now considered common law in their eyes thus Sam(gf) and I share everything thus they want to cut me off of disability. I have till Tuesday to figure something out otherwise I lose all my medical coverage which is going to kill me because all my meds are fucking expensive and since I can't work due to my back I can't get blue cross and I can't get pharma care due to me have no money to pay the deductible.

So, ya. Anyone for ideas for this? I'm fucking concerned as shit. I can't say I live at home with my mom since she called my disability worker and told my worker that I will never be moving back home because my gf is some horrid bitch(she actually said that shit).

I need a fucking break in my life

Though on the bright side my place looks awesome. Got an amazing 1 bedroom apartment that looks badass(Sam pays for it.)

Did you talk to the disability folks yourself, and did they even check your gf's income and shit? you should still be disabled, you just wouldn't get as much money. shit sounds sketchy as fuck. I'm sure it's different in Canada, but I can't imagine it being THAT different. Especially since that's fucking retarded.
