My gf is a nurse. She makes 65k a year but her crohns and the weird shit she's on her pharma care deductible is is 5k a year. She says some company called bio advanced helps pay for some of that but if I join her plan it'll bump that up to like 10k or something stupid.

Called a buddy to see if he was going to the bar. He said he was working all weekend, I gave him shit about it. Turns out he had to do community service and go to AA, because he drove into a house one night after we went out and didn't want to tell anyone about it.

try calling the pharmacy, pharmaceutical, your hospital, and a lawyer. ask about what kinds of assistance programs they have; in the states hospitals are required to spend a certain amount basically forgiving patient bills, so i've done that a few times. the pharmacy might also have something similar; CVS caremark specialty handles my major meds and they have a pretty expansive system, i don't know what all they can do but im sure there's something. and i know Abbot Immunology (manufacturer of said drug) has a program where they pay for the treatment.

as for the lawyer... like i said, this shit sounds sketchy as fuck. call one who specializes in disability, briefly explain and ask if he can help.

youd be surprised how quickly they can move if you push them. not saying they can do it THAT fast, but you should try anyway. idk what the deal is there but here they generally treat first, bill later.

seriously most of the times i got assistance was because they kept sending me bills and i kept saying "lol i aint got money, figure it out."

also, if all else fails, you could just dump it all on a credit card and get reimbursement later.

What about getting in touch with the company that makes it directly? A lot of times they have programs to help those who can't afford it. Especially given your situation where it is NOT something that can wait. I know I have done the same with my maker of my insulin pumps when I ran out due to insurance bullshit and them not covering until a certain date. Not like I could just go, "Oh I guess I can wait a month and let's see what happens!" <.>

Blergh. Was drunk on Saturday in Brooklyn. Going back to some stupid house party when this 'deer caught in headlights' lady comes up to us and asks us where 110th and 6th was. Quickly found out she was fucked fucked drunk and was from Iceland only in the US for the weekend. Her phone was dead and she had lost her wallet.

When I told her she was in Brooklyn and not Manhattan, she said she was just going to walk home. I convinced her to come back to the house party and just sleep until the morning and then figure it out (we were bunch of 4 queer guys).

Walking along, she pulls out a 40oz beer...I commandeered the beer and continue walking.
Between all the discussions and everything I needed to piss. Crass as I am, I went between cars and yeah.

NYPD rolled past. Ticket and sass. I was distracted with the whole Icelandic chick thing that I actually gave my NY state ID rather than an Irish ID or some bs story.


Now. I know I shouldnt have been doing it. I know it was stupid etc. But here's the thing. I don't really know my specific options or the consequences of them. I'm technically homeless right now and money is direly tight for the immediate future.

reading the ticket it gives me the option to go contest the ticket (which is at 2pm, meaning I'd have to take time off work); I can also just send in a cheque apparently?

What does pleading guilty mean? I also generally need to keep a clean record because when applying for visas they always ask if you've been in any crime within the country etc etc. Does pleading guilty keep this on my record for forever?

It's probably just a citation, like a speeding ticket. No real crime, it probably won't go on any records.

I'm not sure of your income but you might qualify for free legal services if you are low income. I have no idea about the laws in your area/state. There are often free legal advice clinics for low income people also, they are usually interns in college for law and offer these counsel services. Check online and you should find some info. The ticket has a great deal of the info you need on it, you might be able to call and ask for a declaration of your full rights and the consequences of the legal choices you can make.

You also said you "were bunch of 4 queer guys". Though a public urination ticket may not be civil rights related, Lambda has legal services too. Worse they can do is say "Sorry dude public urination is not civil rights related" but they might point you in the right direction of who can help. After just reading the red writting on the back of that citation it says directly that you are pleading guilty to an offense that is NOT a crime under NY state law. So basically you are ok. It's just a citation, like a speeding ticket. shouldn't affect your visa applications.

Spoke to my worker about getting the "Three Month" living together trial today but the bitch refuses to let me have it becasue Sam and I are an early in love couple so in my workers mind that means "We are together forever and the 3 month trial is a waste".

That left me with two options. but first let me explain something. On Monday I called my Doctor and screamed at them in a panic. Freaking out about disability wanting to cut me off on Tuesday. I have never been that screamy before. I got my doctor to call my worker and explain that if they do cut me off I'll die. So, thanks to that I have an extension to Nov 1st.

But because I still want to finish out a life goal of actually finishing HighSchool(None of that GED shit) I am deciding to do another slightly illegal plan.

See, come Nov 1st I will be informing my worker that I have moved back home with my mother and therefore my disability will not be cut off(Which I don't get since my mother supports me financially more then Sam ever could.(500k a year > 65k a year). But I will still continue to live with Sam. I'll just have nothing stating that I live here. I'll have a spare room at my moms place made up with a bed and whatnot incase of "check ups" and whatever. And then come Summer time, I shall look into getting off of disability and try to work. Either that or move out again but this time say with a roommate and not a girlfriend.

Seriously, this is something my worker told me "Disability is set up to help those who are one step from homeless". I've been on Disability since I was 16, which my mom made, at that time over 1,000,000 a year. So how the fuck does that mean I qualify for it back then or at all for the last 9 years? The government is fucking retarded. But I bet you, if I was native, I'd get all the money I'd ever need and never have to work in my life. But no, I get to be a sick, attractive, fit white kid where no medical professional or government worker will ever take me seriously and just assume I'm "Lazy".

Im pretty sure i just got declined on two job interviews because i didnt dickride the job enough. Because i didnt say that "this is my dream job and this is all i want to do". 18$/hr job is really my life goal!!
