If it makes you feel any better, when I was about 3, I was at my grandmothers, dad was at work, mother was at home and one of her coworkers who was on moto patrol stopped by her house and lost his keys in our place. My grandmother worked at the restaurant that was the universal cop hangout due to all the agencies that patrol that area and never heard the end of it.

It was 36 degrees this morning at 6am with a small amount of sleet from a shower overnight clinging to the side of the roads. No ice anywhere and rising temperatures everywhere...2 hour school delay because EHRMAGAD FUCKING SNOPOCALYPSE....You should hear the local radio stations talking about the "treacherous" conditions. The only areas where there is any concern is far east Multnomah county (Troutdale, Corbett, East Gresham, Boring, Sandy, etc.). But the news stations would have you believe that the North Pole has relocated to the Portland Metro Area.

In other news, I am sitting here at work browsing BG and reading a book because I have nothing to do and will continue to have nothing to do until after New Year's Day. But I have to come in anyway so there is a "management presence". We have no other employees right now and I can receive phone calls, texts, emails, etc. from home. But nope, the owner says I have to be here doing jack shit.

I've had plenty of cavities, for the afforementionned reason, but I can actually stick my tongue in it, and its on the side to top it off

Haha, yep. That's how it happened in Tigard. We still need to get all the Portland area BGers together for a few drinks and awkward conversation at least once. New Year's BG party!

Snow's still around in Seattle for the most part. I'm waiting for the inevitable Snowpocalypse 2013. I'm always shocked to learn that some Northern cities just can't handle snow in the slightest.

Does buying a car that no one can work on count as a random fail?

$1200 repair cost from the stealership, called a couple of local garages and none of them can do the job because they don't have the "Subaru specific tools" required.

Welp you either chipped/broke the tooth or you had a cavity that went unnoticed that caused it to break. Does it hurt at all? If it starts hurting like a mother fucker you're probably going to need a root canal.

Has happened to me in the past. I guess when they are so proud of their fancy "boxer" engine its because they know they'll be seeing you again if there is ever anything wrong with it. I've had mine since 2006 and haven't had too many problems with it though, and it is nice in the snow so I suppose could be worse.

Next car #1 feature will be the ability to change the headlightbulbs myself when they go out :-/

Don't do it man. All it can be is a scam so there's your curiosity sated. Sending a handwritten letter to your house about a job with absolutely no explanation/letterhead/etc just means they sifted your name/address info out from the internet somewhere (or the trash, for that matter) and are now trying to get money or personal identity info out of you somehow.

I would start burning or extra-special shredding any trash with personal info on it if I started getting letters like this lol.

I used to get a shit ton of chain mail letters that were addressed to me. Probably fished through the phone book. But yea that screams scam all over.
