I just recently changed from Bell to Rogers internet. Had Bell for 9 years and never had any real problems. Just now and then the connection would drop because of weather. But once I got Rogers I've been having problems left and right. It's been 3 months and I've already replaced modems once and had to call them twice to reset the modem from their end. In 9 years with Bell I just had to replace modems once, and that was just when I upgraded my service. Rogers blows. Get Bell or Shaw. Maybe Eastlink might work if you have that in your area.

Was with Rogers for the longest time, always had technical difficulties with them, noticed it the most during my days of FFXI. Recently moved, and I had a friend who's become an "agent" for an American company called ACN. My biggest draw to them was the uncapped usage, would drive me crazy hitting Rogers' cap within the first 2 weeks of the month when I was with them. So far to date I've had 0 problems with ACN, in the 3 months I've moved, my internet has been down once for about 15 min and thats it, we've been around 200+GB/month usage, the speeds are meh, but I'm on the lowest package there is for now, but for the $50/month I pay, I can't complain, unlimited data usage, only 15min downtime in 3 months, and no billing issues to date. Can't comment on their customer service since I haven't had to deal with them yet.

Got a member complaining about service his son received in Toledo Ohio last night. The guy then made a bunch of false damage claims that he contradicted almost immediately. I point out that he is telling me conflicting stories and he says he never said any of that. I pull the recording and play it for him. He says it's me throwing my voice mimicking him. I don't even....

Ever compose an email to a VP, copy about 40 people on it, and accidentally address the vp as Anal instead of Alan? Yup, and even though I tried to recall it, it had already been read by about 30 of those people.

Nothing quite like that, but I did send an e-mail to the entire supervisors list when I worked at my last job stating that "I will be looking into coverage for the remainder of the shit." (I meant shift.)

Dont ever subscribe to America's test kitchen, they have the worst customer service ever, it's almost like a scam, I tried to cancel my membership and it just sent me to a loop, cancel membership button send you to FAQ customer service page, and vice-versa. Also the phone number listed in the website is just for automated response and automatically hangs up.

I don't understand people. Chicago area we are sitting somewhere at -10 degrees. People calling the movie theatre all night asking if we are open because of the cold. If places with non-essential services are closing, why don't you just stay home instead of venturing outside? Then to top it off, I couldn't get my car started at the end of the night and my co-worker just took off without at least asking if I would be O.K. Thank god I have keys to get back inside the building.

Girlfriend's parents watch our dog while we are away skiing/boarding for a week. We pick her up and are told my girlfriend's dad has been feeding her twice as much food as he should be because she kept getting into the garbage and bread drawer. Fail here is that her dad taught the dog how to open the lid of the garbage can as well as the bread drawer then complained she kept getting into it.

Now we have to make sure she doesn't try to get into our garbage at home and give her some extra exercise to lose a couple pounds she put on, At least all our food is kept up high.

That is awful. I cant imagine anything worse than working a long night....then braving the elements of Chicago winter during a storm and your car not starting and no one else around to give you a lift home. Poor creatur.

My random fail is that I dont have winter boots and my work shoe has a hole in the bottom of them. The snow in NYC is now sludge and my foot got soaked on way to work. Wet feet at work all day. Noice.

Don't worry, it'll be a giant sheet of ice all day tomorrow so your shoes won't be wet again. 8F tonight, 14F tomorrow.
