What I want to know is what would be worthy of a strike. Misspellings, grammar, inaccuracies, or just uninteresting? Seems like something that could be very subjective.
Horray crippling depression making me retreat from anything and everyone I've known for half a year.
Apelila apparently needs to go on the X-2 again! (WB dude!)
You get automatic strikes for missing deadlines, using American spelling, not following instructions in the assignment, contacting clients (not supposed to anymore), not using correct templates/formatting (the one I did).
Was an oversight on my part. I thought you could still post links but their system can't pick them up anymore. Not a major deal but now I know to be a little more careful.
my apartment complex instituted a 3-strike system for having your car moved for the plows; i got my first strike in the same envelope as the announcement. worst part: i moved. their "proof" is a photo of my empty parking space not plowed. The plow guy showed up early, then bitched about everyone not being moved even though we were all told he'd be by later in the day. i explained to the property manager, they won't do anything about it "oh its only one strike its not a big deal" yes it fucking is
Have you tried going to the actual off-site property management company and talking to someone directly, or having someone do that for you? I'd bring the picture, naturally.
they're like 2 hours away, so no. i'm going to be doing a lot of calls this week, though, to sort that and other things out. the county social service department is fucking retarded. they send my dad requests for my information weeks after they tell me i never responded to that request and they are therefore canceling my benefits.
In lieu of going in person, I would recommend supplementing your calls with snail mail correspondence. Send it via Certified Mail with Return Receipt. Include a copy of the photograph, and write out your concerns in a letter. Keep your receipts and tracking information, and refer to it post-delivery in a follow-up call. You could note on the letter that it was being sent both by those means and via fax, too, if you want to be thorough.
Property management companies almost entirely work on old school paper records, and counties and states themselves usually require proof of correspondence if anything ever elevates to a level that concerns them (e.g., court). Honestly, you could just mail that and put off doing the calls until it's received, or just place one call ahead of time to notify them that it's coming.
Where the fuck did the 'three strikes' law or whatnot come from, baseball? It ain't, right? It has to be something that predates slavery or sumthin'. Anyway, from online shitty jobs to... super strict laws! I mean, if you fuck up three times they throw your ass in jail 4life. And why three, why not four or five? What's so special about three? Is it because Jesus resurrected on the third day? Whatever.
I went to the store because I needed a new mop. Since I didn't wanna be walking around w/ dat shit, I detached the handle and dumped the mop head in my european carryall. The handle resembled like one of those sticks the blind folk utilize to walk around. I just started to 'feel the ground' w/ the handle and people suddenly were diving out of the way. I was treated like a king. The price I had to pay? It was cold as fuck, like around 60s. It was an awful day.
Brighthouse (local internet/cable provider, have always hated them but no choice where I live) took my payment three days early and three days before I have the money to pay them, call them up to ask them what the fuck and they hang up on me ... meanwhile my bank account is negative and they cost me an overdraft fee for being too early on the auto-debit ...
Fuck you, Brighthouse, I am so fucking tired of your bullshit.
I got a FRAUD ALERT! e-mail forwarded to me (and presumably most of the rest of the company) at my corporate e-mail address from the company's Corporate Card Administrator, warning of a scam going around that is attempting to harvest AMEX card information. She was kind enough to include a copy of the fraudulent email, with all of the phishing links intact.
So, with my new Puppy and it being too cold to take her out for walks. To help train her we've been using Puppy pads. While my GF and I are out at Work/School we put the puppy in the Bathroom with half of it covered in Puppy training pads. In an attempt to try to get her to go on them. Or if she pee's/poo's off the Pads we can move em and act accordingly. I come home today to find the pads in mint condition but my puppy covered in piss. She decided to piss off the pads and then nap in said pee.
As I pick her up to take her to the tub to wash her, she decides to piss on me.
God damn it, I forgot how annoying training dogs is.
