Just because something is popular doesn't mean it is good.
Just because something is popular doesn't mean it is good.
I didn't say that it was. I don't watch Walking Dead but I don't necessarily disagree with Myrrh's friend's analysis, because zombie invasions are metaphorical, and the idea of people becoming mindless drones is a scary but possible scenario. (One could argue that many are already like that.)
But that's beside the point, I just always see you being such a Negative Nancy so I thought I'd have some fun with it.![]()
I probably would rather view zombies as a political metaphor than just zombies also. So maybe I could enjoy the show.
I figure all I need to know about zombies I learned in Resident Evil.
Eh, zombies don't bother me. Or the prospect of it doesn't. I get to bash things and shoot things, and if I get bit, fuck it, whatever.
Now, something like Revolution's premise truly scares me. (Don't get me wrong, the plot behind it is utterly stupid and impossible.) But the whole, going back to farming, no electricity or anything is terrifying to me. Because even though zombies fallotu would eventually lead to that as well -- in Revolution's case, I can't go nuts on people. Fuck.
i stopped watching the walking dead mid-way through season 2. when
Spoiler: show
at that point, i realized exactly how the entire series is going to go down: zombies threaten group, someone does something horrifyingly evil, angst ensues, rinse repeat. it's not interesting. i've never cared for zombie stories precisely because they're always the same. "oh look at all the fucked up shit people have to do to survive now!" also zombies aren't inherently interesting. they have no motivation, and could easily be replaced with, say, wild animals. or a virus. or nazis. although come to think of it, wild animals and nazis would probably be more interesting than zombies.
Eh, let's not flatter ourselves now, I just speak for the people.
Well I'm just going to be like the government and say that removing them was for the good of the people, because they can't truly know what they want.
Also I just really like Elsa, so dealwithit.jpg
I'd like to see a zombie story with a virus that doesn't actually turn anyone into zombies, but just fucks with their brain so they see everyone else as zombies.
Having a horrible day. It's impossible to find a T8 torx screw driver in this town. Damn, gonna have to drop by walmart. I guess I'll take the mop handle and act blind again.
Random fail is acting like you have a disability if you don't.
lol aks, that was either a great joke or a horrible whiff.
If it was some kind of reference to something, I didn't get it - just commenting on how it's a pretty shitty thing to do.
search is failing me but iirc jefe grabbed a mop by the mopping end in wal-mart and was fucking around with it and someone thought he was blind and opened doors for him
