My Random Fail of the day: Ended up getting rear ended (now I am going to make poor phrasing on purpose) while going to a Marine Bio outing and... then being involved in a hit and run, with police chasing down the car I was chasing, only to have them jump out of the police car with their guns pointed at 5 mexicans (teenagers looked like) in a car.

So, there's that. Quite crazy - They called in K-9 and cuffed them all. I got a police report, but until Monday no info on their insurance if they even have any.

Edit: Small edit before bedtime - I was in the boyfriend's car at that point, not on my bike. Since some know I only own a bike myself.

So I have a superspinatus impingement in my right shoulder, my right shoulder that's already been surgically repaired from a car accident when I was 18, doctor gave me oxy's...holy fuck I totally understand now why/how people get addicted to this stuff. Flushed them immediately, just going to use ibuprofen.

Don't need it, and having a family that was destroyed because of an addiction, I wouldn't dare do something like that. I don't judge others, and there is no high horse, it's just not something I want to be a part of.

Started getting a zit on my forehead and it was painful and bothering me so I put some zit creme on it to make it go away faster. The zit creme gave me a terrible painful rash on my forehead. Now instead of one red dot I have an approximately 1" x 1" square of bumpy red itchy raised skin. Fuck.

Did you ever consider confronting them during the day about the issue - in person? Or contacting the complex administration? Calling the cops on them doesn't make them change their heart and feel "Oh I didn't know someone's ears were hurting, sorry officer" instead most of the time it just gets more consistent and louder. More effective to leave a note or ask them in person. Or party down with them the next time.

Being in an apartment in my younger days and having cops called on us, it really does nothing. They have no authority to come inside without a warrant and they will generally give you a three strike rule for the night. At that point the party is already dead or quieted.

nah, as long as they don't know who's calling about them, if the cops keep getting called over there they'll start being massive douches about it and the people will have no choice but to stop
