Oh my god.....
"What are you wearing?"
"Ugh.... Khakis"
"She sounds hideous!"
rofl
LOL that's actually hilarious.
GTFO if you don't understand the internet in 2014 and you're not over the age of 60.
I wouldn't say she doesn't "understand" the internet, she for some reason is just under the assumption that the thread in which she entered is actually a chat room, and is of the belief that I'm "fucking around with bitches" in this so called "chat room" lol
It is complete fail, but then most of our arguments are..........
She sounds like a dumbass. Have fun with that.
For my own fail, had a 2 hour long job interview with a really prominent Seattle company this week. Find out today that they decided to go with somebody else. Always irritating when you got really far out of your way for an interview, end up making it through the entire thing and not being taken for the job.
Yeeeeeah. That sounds exactly like she doesn't understand the internet.
My random fail was getting paid today, logging online to check my statement, and thinking "I'M RICH BEEYOTCH!!", then realizing that my truck payment comes out on the 15th, my rent check doesn't actually clear until the last couple days of the month usually, and I hadn't yet paid my utilities bill. So actually I'm broke. FML
Planning on having some sexy self time. House to myself, download some new porn, then fall asleep before I can do anything and wake up to my alarm the next day.
St paddy's day weekend in Boston, so I'm working plain clothes today in a large college area of town.
20 mins into the shift, transmission shits the bed.
Shits the bed as in everyone commited a crime at the same same time, or shits the bed as in borked?
Sorry cruiser transmission shit the bed. 2013 Chevy cruze with 35k miles on it
*edit* turns out it was our only "working" unmarked. So I will now be working plain clothes, in a fully marked cruiser. Hahaha
Fleet problems are the worst ... we wouldn't have any problems with ours for like six months then half the fleet would go to shit within like 4 days.
Ugh, my neighborhood has really gone to shit.
When I moved here two years ago, it was really quiet, you could leave your bike and/or furniture out on the patio and no one would touch it, etc. Now, there isn't a day that goes by where I don't hear loud (and frankly terrible) music coming from some asshole's car, cars that sound like they're running on weed whacker motors, and people yelling and screaming all hours of the night. I sleep with a gun near my bed but it doesn't feel like a good place to live anymore.
Just tonight I was lying in bed and I heard some guys walking right by my window (and where I keep my bike) talking about "we could steal it," and I jumped out of bed, grabbed my glasses and my gun and went to the door. (Just for those concerned, the gun was held in a way that it was not visible from the outside when I opened the door.) No one was out there but I brought my bike inside. There really is no fucking room for it in here but I'll be damned if some punkasses are going to steal it.
Back when I moved here, the leasing agent told me, "We don't have security, this is a great neighborhood, we don't ever have any problems so we don't need them!" This was back when I worked for a large security firm in the area, and I know from that experience that the neighborhoods without security are not secrets for very long. Especially around here. Because the security that patrols apartment complexes around here actually work on cleaning up the neighborhoods and the leasing managers evict the problem children. You know where they go? To the fucking neighborhoods without security. I used to see that cycle from some of our old clients. They'd hire us (again), the neighborhood would be cleared out and they'd notice a significant decrease in activity so they'd cancel the account, then six months later all of the shitbags are back and they hire security again.
It's ridiculous. And instead of these people thinking, "Hey, maybe I should stop being such a fucking shitbag and learn to follow simple rules like 'no loitering after 10PM' and 'don't play fucking loud ass music at all hours of the day' and 'don't steal shit from people' and 'don't break into apartments.'" They think "Fuck the police, fuck the security, they don't run my fucking life," and then they move like the parasites they are and fuck up pretty good neighborhoods like mine used to be.
And don't get me started on the management here. They used to be good. I could have maintenance calls answered in a timely fashion, they were more selective on who they let in ... now it's like any shitbag with a money order can come in and do whatever the fuck they want, forget about the people with kids, or the single women, or the elderly who live here, now it's just a bunch of shitheads who have no respect for authority.
I mean fuck man. I was planning to move anyway when my lease is up because the rent has just gone up too much, but if I needed any extra convincing, tonight would have done it. Now I can't even sleep even though I've got my door and windows locked and my gun loaded. Fuck.
I live below what I think is a family of 3 and that has a kid maybe 2-3 years old (can walk? when can they start walking lol)
I have a balcony that slightly extends out above their one, so technically they can look down and see my platform.
The last few weeks I've recorded a handful of things randomly thrown down:
1. Packet of brand new mackeral/fish; I actually don't know how long it's been there but they didn't ask to retrieve it
2. Naan bread; this was a month or so after
3. This was Friday; a bowl was dropped down and shattered in my balcony, it was only when I stepped out and felt pain on my feet did I realise an entire bowl was thrown down
4. Today, got home from work, naan bread
In all incidents I've not been present or I'd go straight up.
Is it fair/safe to assume that the child did it (otherwise there would be more "serious" objects or general rubbish and even baby wastage like nappies) and not to go up and speak to them about this yet until it gets a bit over the top? I appreciate you can't full control a child especially if he wants to dangle something over it, or maybe throw things over it. But the bowl was my main worry; had I been injured (either because I was under it when it dropped or I didn't see because it was dark) I felt they had some sort of duty of care/responsibility to try to communicate with me that there's sharp glass all over the platform.
I'm also unable to tell so far if they are first world or third world asians (I live in a massively indian/pakistani populated city; I don't think chinese, white or black people would feed naan bread to a baby lol). I feel if it was the latter this would be sigificantly harder to deal with especially if they decide to avenge the fact I even went to speak to them lol (by throwing more shit over or plainly purposely increasing the noise level).
I don't want to seem petty but it was the bowl that got my anger up a bit.
^ better go mention it before you find a dead baby/toddler on your balcony.
Oh gee I never considered that possibility... understood.
