ksand, i was thinking a dildo as well, lol
Straight out of an E. L. James book. When he was looking at the item I didn't rush him or tell him to hurry. In fact I didn't say anything.
It's CL. You bought it, it's yours. No, I won't deliver it. No, I won't "guarantee" it. No, I won't take a check. Cash only.
Yeah ultimately I asked the guy what he wanted me to do about it and he said nothing, a deals a deal and he made the deal. It just pissed me off that he texted me in the first place because I did feel bad for him. I have purchased stuff at garage sales and craigslist before and not gotten what I wanted. Mostly purchasing magic card collections and baseball card collections looking for something valuable. You over spend and end up with low value cards big woop you made a mistake you get over it and move on. You don't go whining back to the person you bought it from.
Oh my lord so someone at my work actually took cell phone pics of a credit application and sent it via e-mail ... um ... you know I can't process this, right?
Dude every day they go out of their way to try and get around policy and procedure. I honestly wonder what they think of us. I mean would you take a cell phone picture of a loan application for your bank and send it to them? No? Then why would you assume that would fly here? It's a fucking legal document ffs.
Man, whenever someone does that where I work...even if you're new, not just the coaching staff, but management is going to give you the finger wag and tut-tut too.
Well the bank accepts picture of thousand dollar checks I deposit from my phone so logically it makes sense! /thinkaboutit
Well we're not Chase, lol.
I've lost track of how many vendors failed background checks here cause they don't put down there ssn, or only put last four, or my favorite, leave off arrests that wouldn't have disqualified them from getting clearance to coming on base.
And yes we have had people send us shitty cell phone pictures of their background check paperwork.
Oh trust me I feel you, I have companies that don't put their Federal Tax ID# on their credit apps then get pissed at me when I can't pull them up from two credit reporting agencies. Well, if they'd given me all the information I might have been able to find them. Also companies that put one name on the credit app but they come up under a different name, there's a reason our app also asks them to list their DBAs ...
Yeah business credit is a fucking nightmare sometimes. Then the sales people argue with me when I deny credit, like it isn't my job to mitigate financial risk for the company or anything. Sometimes I want to stab people.
Do you guys just run D&B's and base the credit decision off that? That's pretty much what we do here.
Yeah, basically, though we'll pull an Equifax if D&B doesn't have enough info.
Seal on my kitchen sink tap just bit the dust. Didn't realize it until my dog walked in half soaked.
There goes my evening...
