My brother is about 4 years older than me, and I have a sister who is about 2 years younger. Since moving to Korea 7 years ago, I had sent them birthday and Christmas gifts every year, but I will no longer be sending gifts to my brother because of the message he sent me after he received the package last year. This was back in June, so nearly a year ago, and he deleted me from his Facebook after.

The card game he is referring to is
Cards Against Humanity, which I had thought he would like because he and I had always used to have a similar sense of humor. I don't think he ever opened it, so he had no idea what the game was actually about, he thought I was just insulting him.

The Christmas gifts he's referring to were
Oglaf (which he called the gay asshumping book),
Building Stories,
Ready Player One, and
this Gremlin toy for his son.
I had no idea he thought I was the favorite child, or that I had more toys than he did. I got My Little Ponies, he got a Commodore 64. I got Breyer Horses, he got an Atari. In high school, he got a car, I got a horse. I later got a truck during high school, to haul the horse trailer, but my brother also got another car (he either wrecked or had die several cars while we lived at home). He and I used to stay up late on Saturday nights to watch Doctor Who and Monty Python together. We also both used to get up early to watch Robotech. I honestly thought I was getting him good gifts, but I don't believe in all my years in Korea he sent me a single gift, Christmas or birthday, and I never complained (that I remember anyway).
I included the previous message from him to show how "hard" he tried to contact me about my parents computer problems. He never contacted me any other way other than Facebook, and there was nothing he could do with our basement server and I had told our parents this previously. Our sister got married 2 years ago (it is her 2nd marriage, not that it matters), and I had come back from Korea with my kids and husband to attend her wedding, but I had never known why my brother and sister-in-law did not show up.
Oh, and the first of these messages arrived on the day that I had lost a kitten to Parvo (a Munchkin I'd named Tyrion, I would later adopt his brother Bilbo), and had several others sick. I was in a shitty mood, and instead of seeing thanks for the birthday gifts, I got cunt-punched.
This month, my brother has moved back in with my parents because he and his wife are filing for divorce. He has apparently landed a job as a rural mail carrier, but he now needs our parents to help him buy another car so that he can drive his route (the PO does not provide cars for rural routes). I now fear for all of the items that I left behind at my parents house, which they had agreed to keep for me until we eventually move back to the US or have a big enough home in Korea to keep it all. We have a large collection of DVDs, books, LDs, and other assorted things that I fear my vindictive brother might start selling off under my parents noses. I also fear that I cannot even come home to visit my parents anymore, which I had planned to do later this summer.
