My last actual job that wasn't an odd job was about a year ago. I was being paid less than minimum wage under the table lol. Was basically the kitchen bitch at a vietnamese restaurant. They trained me up front, was going to be able to get tips and shit, then the other owner got back from vacation (They were gone when I got hired) pretty much said "fuck that, no niggers up front" and disguised it with "language barrier with the customers" and threw me in the back lol.

Then they ended up getting a second cook, so they didn't need me as the cook's bitch anymore lol

I'm sure you could easily get a job as a bouncer at a bar/club nearby. Especially a college bar. Most of the people I knew that bounced at college bars got paid cash nightly under the table.

So a freight train hit a cement truck on the same lines as
the commuter train that I ride on earlier today and the truck driver died. Because of this all trains are delayed up until 8pm tonight so I am stuck at the train station until they clear the tracks and open it up again. I am sitting here listen to these two passengers bitch about how it shouldn't take 6 hours to clear the track and investigate the accident and that somehow the people involved with the investigation and clean up are taking their time. Then they proceeded to pray to God for the investigation crews to be less incompetant so they can clear the tracks faster so they can go home. Its taking everything within me to keep myself from telling them to shut the hell up, stop bitching, and maybe have some patience and compasion for the truck driver that died...

When it comes to public transit, I do not expect to hear discourses on virtue and the like. But if you're going be be audible in public when people can't get away, the least you can do is make sure the shit that comes out of your mouth isn't going to drive everyone else to do their damnedest to put their heads through a closed window.

So, I'm at Vegas. I'm playing Roulette and talking to the Dealer. After he learns I'm Canadian he leans over and whispers to me "So, there aren't a lot of black people in Canada, right?"

Now, what I meant to say quietly was "No, not really"

What I actually said very loudly was "No! God, No!!" and I made everyone at the table burst out laughing. After I realized what I said I panicked and tried to save my ass which made everyone laugh more. I'm still shocked that I did that.
