This really requires more of an explanation.

It wasn't quite as bad as it sounds, but it was highly irritating nonetheless. I was shaving my head using an electric razor, when my mind wandered off as my hand made its way from behind my ear in the direction of my temple. When I noticed how far it had gone, I pulled it away and pretty much thought that no one could be dumb enough to shave his eyebrows by accident, so I used the mirror to get rid of my suspicions. Then I saw that about a fifth of my left eyebrow was missing, leaving me wondering what I should do, because it didn't exactly look cool.

I quickly realized that I couldn't leave it that way and employed one of the most basic methods of improving aesthetics - creating symmetry. I shaved off an equal part of the other eyebrow, but that made it look even worse. Increasingly anxious, I then figured that having no eyebrows at all would have to look better, kind of like wearing a hat and not wearing a hat - both can look good and eyebrows couldn't possibly be that important.

Dead wrong again. I spent the next few weeks quite thankful for every single mm of growth, though they did grow back rather quickly.

Don't, you'll destroy the bookcases.....trust the voice of experience.

Yep, better safe than sorry, I guess. I'll probably need to buy new shelves anyway, but I might be able to sell the old ones or use them in the future, so I'd rather not risk breaking them.
