First world problem: I usually work evenings, but get scheduled once or twice for day shifts. So usually I'm awake until 6-7am, and 11am days just kinda suck. Well I have 3 early shifts (basically every other day) this week and starting the week off I get home from work and take a nap and now I'm still up at 8:30am which is going to make my next early shift completely terrible.

Fucking favorite bar at Disneyland just added three new drinks to their menu. I was one drink away from having every alcoholic drink on their menu at least once and now this..the day before we leave and I had promised hubby I wouldn't go this time. FML.

Well, got my back frozen again. After the procedure the Doctor handed me a piece of paper with stretches on it and told me to leave. When I asked about pain pills, they just said "No". Now my back feels like i have a knife stuck in it, I miss my old pain right now <_<

I'm afraid I don't like my new job particularly much. I've been there for a week and so far I mostly feel like an efficient plate transporter that also gets to seat the guests and count the money at the end of the day. I don't know if this is their idea of a learning process, or if it's what they expect me to do from now on. I'm told a lot of things I could do, but it doesn't seem like I'm expected to get administrative time to actually do them. I've been told they're looking for someone to develop the restaurant, but so far I haven't been able to present any of the ideas I have to anyone and I'm growing increasingly aware of the fact they were in a desperate need of someone who could step in and run service instead of the owner who's way too overworked and seems to have troubles delegating work. I don't feel like I can leave right now either, since the summer season is basically here, so I might have to stick with it at least till August. I miss my old job.
