That's got to be the worst thing about always needing tests/surgeries in my opinion. It seems like when they tell you that you can't eat, that's when you're the most hungry

Fuck workman's comp bullshit. I had my first carpal tunnel release surgery March 21st and am just finishing up the approved therapy. Doctor tells me when I'm ready to do my left let him know so had followup today. Was told at last check in that it shoukd take less than two weeks since other surgery was already approved. Now today comes and I ask what the date might be and they tell me we have to wait for workman's comp to approve it and coukd take up to four weeks and won't share tge possible dates or schedule until approved.
So basically by the time it's approved I could still be waiting two weeks or more to even get in to have it done. I never want to deal with this shit again. So much time wasted Fuck.
been off work since last Thanksgiving.. Ugh.
Got severe tooth ache, jaw swollen, look like a Frankenstein's creation, haven't been able to eat anything solid for two days. I'm so hungry! At least I managed to get it cleaned today and got antibiotics. I have a 20 man conference to take care of at work tomorrow, going to be thrilling.
I've been out of work since December for wrist problems and still just haven't gotten a surgery. They wanted to try and repair through therapy... Yeah, hasn't worked. Thanks for wasting 6 months. Best part? I was a waitress and tips aren't calculated into comp. I get $600 a month and live in suburban NY. If I wasn't getting help from my parents I'd be screwed. $600 wouldn't even cover rent with a roommate.
I've got mad problems.
Forgot my enchiladas for lunch today.
Fucking sucks.
Ugh that's so shitty. They tried that first with me too and luckily I was able to work with dual splints at the time but TBH think it made it worse. They did nerve testing which was insanely painful and the doctor was like.. Why are you waiting for surgery your wrists are fucked lol.
I'm lucky I'm not only losing about 200 a month but if not for my husband Yeah we would be so screwed. I feel for you, being in that industry is rough.
can confirm, buddy is pizza delivery guy. industry is shitty.
A spider, about the size of 3 paper clips if a triangle was formed out of the 3, was chilling on my balcony (it was raining). I went to pick it up so I can throw it over, but it got away and crawled into my "pebbles" around the sides of my balcony, and kinda dug into the pebble sand. Can't find it now and it's pitch dark.
Hope it doesn't do anything nasty lol, I'm paranoid.
106 degree's outside. My office has no AC, 3 people in it with 3 computers and 8 monitors. The office is about 12 feet by 12 feet square. At the same time my "wonderful" wife is bragging that it's 79 at home 15 miles away and she's going to be lounging at the pool.
that's not an office it's a walk-in closet
edit: for a little context, my parents live in an 800 sq. ft home. my childhood bedroom was 9x14. i had room for my bed, a loveseat, an end-table, and my computer/tv desk/area. dude's office is barely bigger than that.
i hope you guys are using your vertical spaces. that's how i rolled; i slept on a loft, my lego table wen't where the bottom bunk would be. let me fit a bit more in there.
It really is. When they built this jail in the early 90's, they didn't forward think too well when it comes to staffing, wiring, etc. Right now I have the door to our cage open to get some more cool air in, even though technically it's supposed to be kept closed 24/7 as it's a fire door.
Calling out your wife on BG when your wife is actually a poster on BG - priceless.
i'm running a fever. 101.2 now, was 101 an hour and a half ago. my normal is 98.2. so it's prolly not gonna get too much worse. but now i'm too tired to play vidya all night like i usually do. woe is me.
I like to fall asleep with Netflix in the background playing Star Trek:TNG... So I can relate, I hate it when I got a headache or something and can't even stand the little noise it puts out in the background :\.
Makes it harder to sleep due to my deafening tinnitus thanks to gunshots half a foot from my ear.
yo, this nigga likes to live dangerously, indeed, lmao
Get halfway in to work before I remember I was going to work the evening shift tonight. Blech.
Yesterday enchiladas, today ripped my pants by my crotch wide open at work just now.
Now my pants are trendy with staples in them. Not my week so far...
