Get to my office today..... fucking key to open the place is not on my key ring.
After sitting outside for an hour waiting for a locksmith, I decided to run back home to make sure the key wasn't at my house. I get half way home (about 10-12 minutes driving), and get a call from my warehouse guy that the locksmith has arrived. -_-
$97 for him to pull the lock, cut a couple keys, and get us inside. Not bad at all.
what kind of ring is it that keys can just up and disappear?
Our printer crapped out on us this morning. First thing on a Friday. We've got a tech here to fix it but what the hell, printer. lol

So to purchase anything over 3000 dollars (including service contracts) County Purchasing requires us to purchase directly from a local SLEB (Small Local Emerging Business) and they have a list of certified companies. I have to have three quotes, all SLEB's for any purchase. The fail is two fold. One, I have to guess by their name if it's even worth calling since there is no description of services (i'm sure as shit not calling a company with imaging solutions in the name when I need a service contract quote for Schneider Electric to maintain our server's battery backup systems. The second fail is I don't think anyone has kept up on this list over the last several years. I've gotten at least 10 #'s that were either disconnected, a message saying this google voice subscriber is not available, or the favorite you have called xxx-xxx-xxxx, this person is unavailable so I have to assume it's no longer a business and some random person's cell phone at this point.
Being stuck in 5 o'clock traffiic on the highway with your gaslight on for the past 20 minutes is a recipe for a stress-induced ulcer. Fuck.
