i've actually considered the diapers. not a fan of stewing in my own juices, though. i'm planning to get a pair of waterproof underwear (intended for use with diapers) for swimming so my ass cream doesn't get dissolved while i'm in the water. makes it incredibly uncomfortable and leaves me feeling vulnerable.


anyway i broke through the megaturd at 4 am. still in some pain/discomfort but back to the normal sort. was finally able to get more than a couple hours of sleep, and had a normal (for me) BM when I got up. very relieved.


edit: also, buttplug is a terrible idea. my asshole is torn up enough as it is, don't need assplay makin things worse.

Flossed my teeth. Just had a filling done a few weeks ago and the dentist made it extremely tight against the next tooth. As I was flossing I felt it give. Sure enough filling is gone now. I fucking hate this dentist.

oh snap, i forgot your gf has crohns too, myrrh. How long has she had it, again? Gonna proceed on the assumption of "several years" at least. if it's just more of the same symptoms i'm not surprised, even if they're worse. i don't typically call my GI unless something new happens continuously for a few days, I notice a steady, long-term decline, or i notice my appetite and weight dropping. Keep an eye on her weight/appetite, if you're worried. Those are the most difficult to self-observe. If she drops more than about 10 lbs unintentionally, you might want to mention it. Tactfully. Otherwise... idk man, hard to give advice about an adult third party. She's a big girl, and interfering too much can make it seem like you don't trust her with herself. I know you know how that is.

if she HASN'T had it very long then yeah you might wanna lean harder; it takes time to figure out what the hell your body is telling you, whether it's lying, and what it all means. feel free to namedrop me if you think it might help. or PM me, if she wants to hear it directly. whatever works.

I have a 2002 VW Polo (had since new). Sadly it's on its last legs. I've had an intermittant problem for most of this year where I lose acceleration randomly. The garage I took it into today said one of my cylinders was not working properly (misfiring) and that it could go one of two ways: they strip the engine and it's an easy fix, or they get into it and they have to rebuild the engine. So it's a case of £500-£600 for the easy fix or the cost of an engine rebuild - no bloody clue, but no doubt expensive and worth way more than the cost of the car.

Now I have to look into the second hand car market - not what I wanted to be doing this week.

I wasn't being deep here, It was more how you manage to actually not shit your pants 20 times a day under given circumstances that impressed me. I know that other stuff quite well myself.

Been back to work after my weekend out of town for three minutes and I'm already pissed off.

This fucking merger has been the most poorly managed piece of shit I've ever encountered in all my years of employment. So when they merged databases they fucking screwed something up that caused a lot of invoices to go out the wrong way, and they didn't think for five seconds beforehand that this might become an issue, because everything they've done has lacked any sort of foresight and so someone has had to go back and fix it.

I was not one of the people involved in this database merge. Those were people from the new half of the company, a group who is admittedly new to our system, and they're the ones who screwed this shit up. But what do I see in my inbox this morning? A huge list of clients for whom I need to fix this problem.

UM EXCUSE ME, BUT I WAS NOT THE ONE TO FUCK THIS UP, AND I HAVE A REGULAR JOB THAT I NEED TO TACKLE.

I don't need this shit. It may be time for me to find a new job.

My employee provided health insurance provider is apparently jacking our plans up $600/month (for family). Of course my company is switching insurances, but they couldn't switch it fast enough so we are stuck paying a fucking fortune for this shit for the month of August.

Fuck insurance. Went to the dentist/orthodontist yesterday. I said I got something in the mail in regards to a bill and that I may owe something. Ends up my insurance won't cover my usual 3 month cleanings because the periodontal deep clean 4 years ago was under my old insurance. Therefore, the new insurance company does not recognize that it ever happened despite the fact my dentist has records of it happening and the hygienist recommending continuing gum treatment in the charts. Fucking owed $100 because of this shit and I'm pretty much voluntarily getting cheaper cleanings that are against dentist orders for now on.

I hate car insurance so much right now, they raised my rates by $40 a month and somehow that's perfectly acceptable, while my pay stays exactly where it is.

Fail of the day: woke up to check some things on my laptop, as is custom every morning before I leave for work and I get a warning from Kaspersky, turns out some shit was on there and Kaspersky cleaned it up for me but it was slow to reboot and I had a miniature panic attack, the last thing I can afford right now is for my computer to crap out on me, this close to the school semester starting up again.
