Thanks for the link, going to look into it. I switched to soft foods as best I can alreday. XD

Bees nest was growing under my front window, behind some foliage so I couldn't see it until I started trimming today. I can handle a small one myself, but this one's grown to over a foot in diameter. Ugh. Time to enlist a friend to be ready with the garbage can lid while I use a shovel to dump it into said bin and toss a firecracker in for good measure.

I spent about an hour making some gourmetish tuna sammiches for my employees last night. We have two people out and another person in a different department just quit so I thought I'd do a little something to keep morale up.
One of the department heads brought in a extra large Garlic Chicken pizza... Aint nobody fucking w/ my sammiches over that pizza. I mean shit, I opted for the pizza too. What a bitch! lol
There is a precedent between me and my department where we'll bring in good home made foods every so often, so I wasn't totally obscure coming w/ the tuna sammiches but I concede to gourmet pizza.
I'll be eating tuna sandwiches for the next few days... Also, I want that hour back.
Wife has a severe toothache. She went to the dentist this morning to get a root canal done. But it had calcified too much so he was attempting to poke holes in it. Ended up hitting her nerve, didn't give her any pain meds until I called flipping out on him. So wife is home barely able to talk. But she suffers through it to tell me she caught a huge ass spider in my toothbrush holder in the downstairs bathroom and it's still there![]()
Just throw some kindling underneath it and start a small fire, smoke will kill plenty of them and the rest will just gtfo as it starts to burn.
Here's one.
Now, if you've lived in the GA area, you'd know that Georgia red clay dirt is hard to get out of anything, nearly impossible in some cases as a matter of fact. It's one of the worst stains you can get on something. We had some on the WHITE linoleum floor in the kitchen. Sis decided today it'd be a good idea to mop that floor with straight bleach..
..The smell nearly drove me and sis out of the house(It did do the job though.). We had to have the doors open until it dried, and it still kinda smells like bleach in here. Sis thinks she's going to dilute it next time. Someone pass me a clothespin for my nose, please...
Spoiler: show
Okay that image is enormous and I didn't scroll too far before I saw the thing I circled in red, which I thought was this 1 foot beehive and I thought, "how fucking big are the bricks on your house dude?"
Then I zoomed out on the page and holy shit bro. Kill it with fire.
I'm at work, tiny monitors, inferior settings, fuck off.
Fucking wasps. I helped my friend just get rid of one about that size, if not a little bigger. We doubled up two contractor grade garbage bags (basically just thicker plastic than standard home garbage bags), then went out at night around 2:30am and basically knocked the entire nest into the bag, then held the bag closed, went over to his truck and just held the bag opening tightly around the tailpipe of the truck.
Everything was dead before the pipe even got warm. Maybe 45 seconds it took at the most.
Nah we just didn't have any gas or somewhere to burn them safely. It's been so fucking dry here we didn't want to start a brush fire. My buddies wife is pregnant also, and he was nervous about her getting stung. We didn't have too much time to prepare.
All things considered, the carbon monoxide did the job faster than the fire would have anyways.
Mission accomplished.
That's kind of fucked up -_-
If they were just honey bees we would have left them alone. Wasps only have one purpose on this earth, to fuck shit up and be an asshole.
Is that the only extrance/exit to that thing? I'd plug it up with something (at night), just to see what happens. All the wasp nests I've ever seen never make it past the open-air honeycomb look before they get a taste of that sweet sweet can of Raid.
I got a 65 on my Excel assignment. Because I dont know Excel? Nope, my sheet is a carbon copy of the results. Because I didnt use the formulas it expected me to use, despite coming to the same result.
Shit that I got wrong, which is tough to explain without seeing the sheet:
"use a vlookup function", which I did, but because I didnt include the optional Range_lookup variable (since it didnt affect the results), nope, 5% docked.
"Add the value from C3 to C1 if C2 is Yes." I did =C1+IF(C2="yes",C3,0), which is right, but because I didnt use =IF(C2="yes",C1+C3,C1), it was marked wrong. 7% gone.
"use another vlookup function", same as the first one, Range_lookup wasnt necessary to the result, but because I didnt use it, another 5% docked.
Because these formulas werent accepted (despite being right), I got fucked out of "copy these formulas down", 6% docked.
One of the last questions was like "format Cells G14:J14 with accounting format, use zero decimal places for whole numbers". Some of the numbers were whole numbers, some had decimal places. My understanding of the question is "format these cells to show zero decimal places for whole numbers and two decimals if there are decimals". I couldnt figure it out. Turns out, the result sheet says the question is "Format cells G14:J14 with accounting format, use zero decimal places".
There were two separate questions like this, one for accounting format, and one for comma format. 6% each, 12% docked.
Markup report:
"Points Awarded to Student 0.000 / 1.000
The cells G5:J5 and G14:J14 were not formatted with Accounting Number with zero decimal places. 0 / 1 "
Assignment requirement:
" Format the cells G5:J5 and G14:J14 with Accounting Number Format. Use zero decimal places for whole numbers. "
Teachers response...none, she fucking walked away. Thats two clearly different directives.
You're SUPPOSED to get two chances to upload, nope, I'm not allowed. "you can try to make up that mark on your midterm". Stormed the fuck out of the class. I'm not sure if I should go the campus director or dean about this, because getting a 65% for having the right answers and being given improper directions is fucked up.
Just to give you an idea of how fucked up this class is. As a practice assignment, we were supposed to do something like "add the retail markup to the cost value (C4), the retail markup is 5%". So I did =C4*1.05. NOPE, WRONG WRONG WRONG. The proper way to do it is apparently =C4*5%+C4.
Email the department head and explain how you failed a test because the directions were different than the assignment and the instructor will do nothing to remedy it. At my school, department heads are very responsive and will follow-up on something like that very quickly.
I'm not sure if I should go over the teachers head right away, or wait for after the midterm. I'm thinking to squash this asap, because chances are I'm going to repeat the same "mistakes" on my other assignments. If this is me losing 5%, whatever, who gives a shit, but I brutally failed an assignment that I didnt deserve to.
