Well while you guys will be at Disneyland, I'll be at Disneyworld, so hooray for BG Disney weekend.
Celebrating the boyfriend's birthday, which is today. Unfortunately, we both have work and/or class all day, so we're putting it off for next week.

My 2 year old son wouldn't go to bed last night. Finally got him to bed around 11:30pm but then he woke up at 6:30am. It really sucks because I have a job interview today.
Reddit now blocked at work. I blame TheFappening. I only want to read through gaming subreddits.
the fappening affects us all.
Fucking signature required for a bike tube? Seriously. Amazon seller is getting a 1 star rating for that. I didn't pay extra for overnight shipping to have to wait another day. I did it because I need a flat and didn't have a ride to the bike store/had to make other accommodations to get around today. And I need to use my bike tomorrow. So now I'll have to go to the bike store and buy another tube because this one isn't here. (and either take the bus or pay someone for a ride)
They have no problem leaving an asus monitor on my front door step (when I'm home) without as much as knocking, but require a signature for a bike tube... mother fucker
When I asked my dad fedex my bass, my amp and pedal from montreal to calgary, they left all of the shit on my moms front porch. 1200$ bass, 400$ amp and 150$ pedal, just live on the front porch. They didnt even ring the doorbell to tell me they had arrived.
they do that to my mom, too. leave all her shit on the porch, don't bother knocking/ringing the bell. sometimes they just leave it in the driveway.
for me they actually knock. i sit like 5 feet from the building entrance, so i'd hear them even if they didn't... and i'd call them on it.
as for signature, i used to have them require it for my meds because i didnt want my must-refrigerate $4000 medication sitting outside for hours on end, so when they'd pull the no-doorbell shit the pharmacy would have a courier come by again later in the evening with it. i hope they charged the delivery company for it.
tell her he's gone to the repair shop and he'll be back in a few days
Fruitflies errywhere =/
I'd be pissed about signature shit, too. Though, at least whatever is delivering to your actual property. I still don't know how the fuck one order I got wound up being delivered the next street name down. The only reason I figured this out was because I was checking tracking and saw it had been delivered, only I certainly didn't have it. I wound up calling our nearby distribution center, of which they were totally shocked someone found their number (sup Google) to figure out what's up. Since they were being dense, I wound up walking the couple nearby blocks just to see it sitting on someone else's porch. Not even the same house number.
In retrospect, I'm kind of wishing I didn't find it as it could've resulted in them replacing what I'd ordered (something used) with a new version that I later had to replace anyway because it was a lemon. All said and done, the related ordeal probably cost me $70. :/
I don't think I'd even be able to grab a package from someone else's doorstep, even if I was 110% certain it was mine and could see my name on it.
Yeah, I can understand that fear, which is why I took my license with me in the off chance someone was like, "The fuck you doing?!" Past experience as a paperboy and pizza delivery has otherwise desensitized me onto stepping onto someone else's porch. The box was easily big enough for me to know what it generally was or wasn't, too, in the off chance other people in the area had a delivery. Still dumb? Probably. The overall situation just had me pretty vexed, though, as this was the third attempt at an item that eventually went belly up, too. Basically taught me that if I ever buy anything used again, do it locally. That way there's a body I can address if they try to pull the same crap.
Birthday party strikes again. Because my wife made so many transfers from our saving account over the last two months for party and house expenses PNC downgraded our account from an interest based savings account to a standard checking account. Someone's getting five across the eyes tonight.
oh lawd, dat ho gonna catch it
Uhh that might be a good thing.
Banks charge you a fee for transferring too many times in one month for savings. (my experience is usually more than three times). They may have done it to stop you from getting too many charges.
There's nothing stopping the bank from putting it back if you request it. It's just a code in their system.
