I'm with BoA and I don't have any of that shit. I must have gotten in when they were doing some sort of promotion I guess. The only time I get charged a fee is if I overdraw.
BoA WILL fuck you. just give it time.
Citibank. But I keep money I don't want to spend with them(and if I need fast clearing) they fucked up big time and I had some large fees that I got reversed.
Edit: BOA/ Citibank are good if you don't use whatever money you have with them lol I just would never use them as my daily bank. Also have some nice benefits , free money orders bank checks and ATMs everywhere .
So much fucking this.
When my ex moved out from Maryland to Washington State they locked his accounts even after he provided all the information ahead of time. Insisted it was all fraud activity still and took 2 weeks to get new cards and shit.
I've had so many friends fucked by BoA , you couldn't pay me to bank with them.
be careful.
That account dejet was talking about (or at least BoA's equivalent) used to be given out like mad during promotions. "free for life!" we used to tell customers. We did account friday's and did it like crazy. All the banking centers did. It was a way to get our numbers for the month.
All these accounts are just a code in the system. The higher ups saw what was going on and said "you can't do that" so made it you couldn't code that account to be free. Fine, ok, BUT, there was no grandfathering either. So thousands (I am sure) of people who were told "free for life" no longer had it free. I don't even know if they fucking got a letter, and I am amazed that there wasn't some major lawsuit over it for false advertising. But it happened.
As is, employees get accounts free for life even after leaving, so I had to downgrade my account to a different one that they were still allowed to code free for life. But I am damn sure to check it every month just in case.
Oh, ya. And when I worked for BOA they gave us a safety deposit box for free. Couple years ago, I got charged, it was no longer free. I sent in the keys and paperwork. They sent a letter back saying the paperwork needed to be notarized. Meaning they must have gotten the first letter with the keys. So I resent it notarized.
Two months ago, bam, $60 fee for the box. Now I am dealing with trying to get ahold of a supervisor to fix this shit because everytime I call they say "well your account says it's active." And they don't know what to do.
Fuck BoA, fuck them so hard.
i am always right. just give it time
I got fucked by them as well. Had overdraft protection with plenty in savings. Had two charges draw me over by a total of three bucks and they hit me with sixty in fees. Called and bitch customer service person said she would reverse one of them and told me I was lucky for that even after she admitted I never should have been dinged.
I have to narrow my choices for my computer science senior capstone project from 8 to 4 by tomorrow.
Had some leftover pancakes from IHOP yesterday, was going to bring them to work.
They're sitting on the shelf right next to the door to my apartment, and I'm sitting at my desk at work. Fuck.
How are we still with regular banks? hasn't it been said to go to a credit union many times? For any of your with Wells, BoA, etc, I am truly sorry.
Local banks are just as good as credit unions. I use Provident, now Sterling National.
What the fuck drugs are you selling that your personal bank account clears 50k/day in checks. I want in.
Edit: I'm sure a local credit union could accomodate that, although surely not ALL of them. The last company I worked for banked with a local credit union, and their deposits/withdrawals were way in excess of 50k.
Citibank gold starts out at 10k clearing day and depending on other accounts(investments, IRAs and others) you can get up to 50k per day clearing. Do I use that? Not really but on a hand full of occasions I have.
My credit union cleans at maximum as far as I can tell 2k for me.
Waiting for the fucking train and some wannabe thug thinks blasting his music is cool. First of all when there is fucking static constantly it takes away any cool factor you think you had.
No issues here w/ BoA, but all I do is deposit money and use my debit card. They still think I'm a student, so no monthly/yearly fees
dont wanna make a new thread for this,
