Had an interview for my practicum for school. Had my mom print out my resume since I dont have one. I get to the interview, do the interview...find out after that some information was changed without my knowledge.

"I had to make it look better"

Now I look like a liar.

anyway i ended up getting the digital version of destiny. turns out it includes both 360 and xbone versions (but only if you purchase within the window, i think) so i figured it was worth it to save myself $60 down the road.

its not even the lack of courtesy that would piss me off, it's the sheer emasculation. like wtf mom, you don't think i can write a goddamn resume?

god i love my parents. they'd help me write the thing, and point out any mistakes, but they'd let me crash and burn before they'd pull something like that.

I was jobless for a year, though it was my choice as well to be jobless that long (Employment Insurance was giving me 850 per month, minimum wage at the time was 8.50, if I worked 30 hours per week, I'd be making the same amount after taxes). My mom decided to turn my 3-4 week trip to Croatia into 3 months, since it looks better to not be jobless for that long without reason (though I was informed by numerous people I should include my time spent there as why I was unemployed for a while).

"I see here you spent time in Croatia, how was your time there, how long did you spend there"
me: "it was good, its a beautiful place, I went with my father to meet my family from his side, I was there for about 3-4 weeks". Glance down at my resume "Aug-Oct". Left the interview feeling like shit, even if it was just for a practicum.

puppies, i wouldnt go for 4+ without expecting a shit on the floor. adults, you can go for an easy 6+. my dog would last the entire school day when i was in high school. or, if you have land, leave em outside with a place to go for shade and some water? golden.

PS3 started acting a bit sketchy so I ordered a 750g Western Digital HD to replace the old 250g one that I had installed. As I was backing it up before removing the old HD it crapped out. YLoD. Everything is gone. I'm sitting here going through my download list and redownloading everything. FML.

Today at the 911 memorial service in our town, a kid (16-25) wore a shirt that said in gigantic letters on front and back "911 was an inside job." Walked right passed the families of people that lost their lives and first responders that were on the pile.

Yeah and thats why none of us said anything. He has his right to freedom of speech, but he could have done it away from the families of those that died and firefighters that were trying to dig their brothers out. It was just rude and dbaggy, but he at least seemed interested in the memorial event that the town did. He bowed his head at every prayer and verse reading, when the names were read etc, he was very respectful... for being a twat. Show off your opinion elsewhere, that's what the internet is for, don't do it at a memorial service where people are mourning.

Luckily for him he didn't pass by the wrong person I guess, he would have been slapped at the least.

A manager of another department accused one of my best people of breaking protocol. I know for a fact he did not. I know this because I double check EVERYTHING. I'm a control freak and everything gets done my way.

I meet with her and a mediator tomorrow to discuss the situation and I fear for my composure. I have this penchant for taking no shit.

Wish me luck! 'cause the Random Fail is that I that I tell this mfkr all about herself and throw professionalism right out of the window.

A day when simple folk learn to shut the fuck is a day I'll celebrate.

No, me saying that is just a testament to the fact I know everything that goes on within my department. I lead a small crew, we're all friends. Each and every one of us are on the same page. It is my page but that's why I'm the boss.

So no, that wasn't an egotistical statement, that was my best way of explaining that if somebody was breaking protocol, I would know.

We have fun, we throw potlucks for birthdays and catch movies. All is well.

If I didn't care about these people I wouldn't be so upset that somebody was trying to disrupt our good time.
