Don't read too much into it guys. It was just a quip pointing out the escalation in his case. I couldn't care less what he uses to mitigate the pain from CF. That shit needs mitigation in the worst way.
Seeing as how that was the first time i've ever tried it in my entire life, I don't see how my pain clinic would even know. And let's not forget I've been on THC pills and liquid. Even though the clinic only sees me once every few months, they know that if I wanted to just get high, I could have stayed on those, or even stayed on Pain patches. I am the one that keeps trying to create a pain schedule that will deal with my pain and not have me go up on pain killers and they keep ignoring it.
And me trying weed was my last resort. That's how fed up I am with Pain Clinic.
Again, all the things you mentioned that has happened in the last month would only make sense if Pain clinic was going through the trouble of examining my life. They are doing as little work as possible while claiming the largest things as possible.
Fiance sleeping on me while I play on BG on my phone in bed, drop phone on her head. Fml.
I waited like 3 minutes to post this.
So back in April, I had some pretty bad tooth pain for a week or two with no real means of doing anything about it. I'm eating something pretty soft (I think it was bread) and a 35-40% chunk of that tooth cracks off into the bread.
I was like FUCK; but when that happened the pain went away and I haven't had any trouble since... until last night. Fucking PAIN; couldn't get any sleep last night at all. That tooth hurts about as much now as it did before that chunk came off. Uninsured, no dental, etc.
Go to Florida Dental Centers ... there's one on Belcher & Drew. I had a tooth pulled and it cost me $150. It was a tooth that had the same as yours, pieces of it had fallen away, and the whole process took like 30 minutes. They may be able to help you with like a payment plan if you don't have the cash right now.
I'll have to give them a call; would def have to payment plan with it lol, if they have one. Was it 150 all together (including follow ups/prescriptions (if necessary, etc.)) or just for the procedure itself
I had gone in a few months before having it pulled for a full diagnostic just to see what all I needed and how much it would cost, that was $60. I think you can skip that though and just have the tooth pulled. If it's chunked off like you said then they shouldn't need to do x-rays. As long as there's a part of the tooth left in your mouth they should be able to just grab it and yank.
Scripts I had to pay for separately, personally I didn't even want them so I still have the vicodin from it lol.
lol hard to take this selfie
Spoiler: show
Okay first of all fuck that looks painful and second of all, they may need to cut the gum to get it out. I'm no dentist though so hell if I know. I think that does cost more if they do have to do that, but I don't know how much. :/
hows the newly single life treating you
unless you lied ryko style and said you did it in your sleep
For CS
I had that happen to me as well. Are you taking an OTC pain reliever? Ibuprofen, etc. Because up to a point that can cover the pain.
Though if it's keeping you from sleeping, yeah, it's probably past the point and it's dentist time.
In my experience the toothache comes in waves, you'll need to start taking and upping the frequency of doses for half a week, then reverse it, and then it settles down for a few months.
But then that whole process will happen more and more frequently, and worse and worse pain, until you can't sleep and reach the fetal ball stage.
Aks is right on what you'll have done, that's what happened with me. Though in my case the cost was $200. You probably won't need Vicodin, just getting the tooth out will be all the pain relief you need.
They will give you a course of antibiotics however. TAKE THEM, ALL OF THEM, ON TIME.
If you aren't taking an OTC, try it and see if it works. (You may need to take an extra pill than recommended, but don't exceed double the maximum daily) If it does, use it until the tooth calms down (though if it doesn't, yep, dentist time), then start saving money for a trip to get it taken care of.
I actually need to get a tooth pulled myself soon, though this one isn't cracked. It may be too late, but a root canal might be an option, since I finally have Medi-Cal.
My coffee just finished from the Tassimo, so I get up, and looks like I forgot to put the mug down -.-
I went out of town a couple days on a whim, straight from work. My kitchen was a mess, hadn't taken the trash out and dishes in the sink. I've come home to these little moth-like creatures infesting my life. There is like 10 or so that I can see, which is 10 too many.
It's about to be like that scene in Tommy Boy.
I learned to never do that the hard way years ago..ugh.
If you can I recommend pouring straight non scented bleach down all your drains and do this several times a day for about a week.
Also they may be gnats which like to breed in any water , so do not keep any open water available if at all possible. Most hardware stores have these fly strips that work wonders too for nabbing the fuckers.
Hope it clears up.
I had an infestation of flies this spring. The difference was I was home every day, took the trash out, and first noticed them the day after I cleaned the entire apartment.
I sucked them up in a vacuum and left them to die. Over the course of a week I'd say I saw 40 or so flies. If anything the posters above say will help, I suggest taking their advice. It's fucking gross.
