Ugh. I never get sick. I had to be to work at 5:30 and none of the pharmacies are open so I can buy the good stuff. I have a 10 hour work day followed by class and I can't afford to miss either. Fuck.

At work, not feeling great. Started getting strobe lights in my right eye. I'm about to get an ocular migraine. Can't leave work because I won't be able to drive in a couple of minutes.

Figured I would be a good responsible home owner and change out my 20 year old hot water heater this weekend. They are usually good for like 10 years max for those that aren't familiar with them. So I run over to Lowes, pick up said hot water heater and the fittings I thought I needed.

To make a long story short...... 3 separate fucking trips to Lowes -_-. I did save $300 installing it myself though.

Some friends of mine just got back from a trip around the world. Went from UK to Germany, Istanbul, to Southeast Asia.

Anyway, on the plane back my friend was going through security. They asked if he had anything sharp or dangerous in the bags. He told them no, they asked to open the bags, he lets them.

He has a machete in his backpack he forgot he had. Luckily the agent was cool and took them into another room to fill out a form to mail it home, but continued to call him an idiot repeatedly. The worst part was, he wasn't the first person that day to do so. He said at 8am there was already pages of names on the list that had knives and machetes on them going through security.

His girlfriend then went on to complain that he bought 4 knives and machetes during their stay in Asia.

This reminds me of something that happened to my friend in 2003. He was heading to Chicago and running late to the airport so threw some clothes in a bag for the weekend and hauled ass to the airport. During security he forgot this was his hunting bag and left a large hunting knife in the bottom. He was actually detained and had to go through some serious shit over it.

This happens all the time. I'd say at least once a week someone forgets to check their gun or ammo cause they are rushing to catch their flight.

So, GF and I got into our first massive fight since we've been dating.

She started doing what every other single person in my life does to me and I lost it on her. Now, I'm the bad guy for getting mad.

What happened was that I pissed her off because I've been playing video games a bit more than normal. I do that when I get stressed. It's my release. She decides to have a talk with me which consisted of just criticizing my life and the way I do things but doesn't offer me any advice or help. Everyone is so quick to tell me what I'm doing wrong but no one in my life is willing or able to tell me how to change things. I told her how upset and disappointed in her I was. She was the only person to not do that to me.

No one really seems to get it. I just graduated from highschool. I'm living a life I never thought possible. Every breath I take I'm reminded that I could go into rejection tomorrow. Do you have any idea how hard it is to figure shit out with that crap on your mind constantly? Everyone treats me like I'm some 40 year old who has never worked a day in his life, didn't graduate anything, and still lives in his parents basement. And when I say everyone in my life. I mean everyone. My friends, my family, my doctors, my government workers, everyone but my GF, till last night.

I think if I had caught her cheating on me, that would have hurt less.

So now, I'm sitting here, feeling like shit because she said that and then I turned into the badguy for explaining.

They sell pipe snakes that attach to a standard cordless drill.

yeah like brill says every other thing you've ever said about her has been extremely positive, so i think she's probably worth the effort. fights happen, shit gets said. maybe she had something going on that was pissing her off, or maybe she was trying to tell you something and fucked up the delivery bad. i know a lot of SOs have a hard time dealing with serious medical shit, so maybe all your problems have been stressing her out, too. she sounds like she's been dealin pretty well until now. also important to keep in mind you've got a lot more practice dealing with your situation than she does.

also, seconding snaking the drain. my parents house gets backed up like that sometimes (comes up in the garage, the lowest point); there's a tree root that has grown into the sewer access, and every so often we have to have them go in and clear it out again. Hopefully yours is a more mundane clog.
