We broke up like 6 yrs ago and there havent been any issues or anything has happened between us that her husband should be worried about.

by all means, stay in contact with her. mention his messages to her; it's important information in relation to her marriage. but responding at all to him is just feeding the bullshit. people like that thrive on drama like that. they need it to make themselves feel superior/important. i'm surprised you didn't learn this playing XI. we all knew those people.

also, myrrh, FUCK THOSE FRIENDS. god that's the single most infuriating thing my friends do. granted, in my case, it's not a medical necessity, but i'd calmly, politely asked them specifically not to do that one thing (in my home) because it really bothers me. then they go and do it. Then when I talk to them about it later, they brush it off as "trolling" and not a big deal. that's not just rude, it's childish. i didn't speak to them for months afterwards.

best suggestion i have is to explain the whole potentially lethal compromised immune system thing again, as well as pointing out that tattoos are basically a huge collection of really small open wounds, and that hands are riddled with bacteria etc. maybe it'll sink in.

There's so much "don't know what the fuck" about tattoos in this thread. If you have a fresh tattoo and you're leaving it uncovered while immune-compromised then I don't have words for you other than "saran wrap". If it is covered with saran wrap or something else then slapping it does absolutely nothing except piss you off.

It's just foolish to act like people are risking his health and safety over a prank. He's the one who lives his life with the condition and knows what special circumstances he requires. I keep mine wrapped for 2-3 days after every new one and my immune system is A+. If you got a tattoo while in such a condition without doing research enough to keep yourself safe then lol, get the fuck out.

Antibacterial rub -> wrap -> tape it up at the ends -> go about your day changing it every few hours.

Is it a dick move to slap someone's new tattoo? Yeah, but it's also REALLY funny.

As fall is starting, sun is setting earlier, of course. It is now setting while I'm at work, which means for about 20 minutes I am blinded by it as it gets low enough to shine directly in the windows.

I have this too but twice a day - before noon the sun is glaring a little in a window to my left (it's high enough that I can still work). As the day progresses, there's a tower block in the way (thank god), but after say 3pm, the sun is then full on glaring in the window to my right, can't see shit on my monitor.

I've been thinking about this as well... I grow out my beard starting in the beginning of September, I'm getting married at the end of September next year... Honestly, I don't think I have a choice in the matter, unfortunately. By the end of the winter all I get is "I haven't seen your face in months, shave your beard!"
