There is an intersection in Salem, OR where I-5 and state hwy 22 cross. The left turn lines are painted through the intersection, but if you follow the lines around the corner, you can't really make the corner and have to swing all the way into the right exit-only lane. It's a big enough problem that it has caused 3 accidents in the 4 years since it was painted. people get hit by semi-truck trailers as they come around the corner because the trucks can't make the turn.

Trains (Amtrak anyway) are awesome and actually quite comfortable. I'd defintely go by that vs bus. Sometimes they even have dining cars where you can buy beer and shit.

I've travelled both by train and bus and train is better by far, bus is really uncomfortable. Go train! :D

And my luck gets worse, my gf might have herpes and might have given it to me. If she has it and I don't I have to break up with her cause of my health, if she has it has it and I have then i'm really dead or so my doctor says but I figure with the low immune system I should have had symptoms by now.

First, I'm sterile so getting a chick pregnant isn't even a concern for me. I do use condoms because I wanted to be STD safe but sadly I went down on her many times without anything.

According to her, her friends, her family, and her EX cheated on her for many years. Fun Fact: Just because you have herpes doesn't mean you know it. You could have the virus for years, decades before an outbreak occurs while being contagious at any point throughout that period.

tl;dr: I'd also get an HPV shot if you haven't yet. Just sayin'

I'm positive I don't have it. It was one of the big things before my transplant. To make sure either my Donor and I had it or didn't have it. If I had it and the lungs didn't or the other way around I'd be dead.

And I found out on Sat at 10pm, she called me crying saying she was at teh Emerg and the doctor said it was most likely herpes.

I'm inclined to believe her. Anyway, you don't necessarily have to break up with her.... you just can't have sex anymore. I guess it depends on how important sex is to you.

The fuck? The Herp sent her to the ER? Was she there for something else, got a blood test, and they just happened to throw that in as a bonus?

If she's feeling really sick from it and didn't already know she had it, it could be primary infection which means she likely contracted it in the last week or two and you may not be symptomatic yet even if you are infected. Might want to make absolutely sure you don't have it too if this is potentially going to kill you.

She could have had an outbreak and instead of showing it off to everyone "Hey, whats this?" gone to the doctor to find out. Canada: where you don't have to worry about being charged an arm and a leg to find out how bad the rash really is.
