Was so constipated this week, I didn't shit for 4 days. That's the fun thing about back pain, some days are worse and require a lot of painkillers to deal with it and by doing that, I clog myself up so badly.

Didn't need to go to the hospital this time, which was nice. Basically drowned myself in laxatives during this whole week. I didn't even have a lot of poo in my system, like one solid turd and the rest was all gas. I was tempted to go buy a needle and just start stabbing to release the pressure. was really hurting. Took my first shit today which has been followed by basically, nonstop farting. Feels so damn good.

Plus, I can eat solids again which is even nicer.

shoulda mentioned it. ask for non-opioid painkillers, if at all possible. opioids can cause constipation; it's why my anti-dairrheal is a derivative. and, of course, your gut flora don't know you're not pooping so they keep making more gas. for once i can say i know exactly how that feels, and i gotta say, it's the worst over-all pain i've ever felt. it wasn't so much that it was the absolute most painful, but that is was up there, it was unrelenting, it made it hard to breathe, and there was nothing to help manage it.

it sounds like you only have that issue if you take too much, though. maybe see if you can get a non-opioid just to supplement when you need extra relief? that way you don't shut down your guts.

This is the third time i've been this badly constipated. I was hospitalized for a week each time(First time was how I broke my back, thanks doctors for ignoring me). And I've tried non-opioid pain killers. They do shit all. I've been put on damn near every pain killer out there in hopes of fixing my back and sadly, the only things that really seem to work are opioids. I think it has to do with my digestion but I'm no doctor.


And yea, it does only happen when I take too much but those are days when my back pain has me like, horribly debilitated. Almost unable to stand.

Felt really good to have a proper full shit today, though

It wasn't a bag of weed, or a bottle of jack. It was a large amount of cocaine which was bagged and prepped for sale, said person was found unconscious in a school zone, make of it what you will. If you're selling to children you're a piece of shit. In terms of confidentiality, were bound by law not to give any medical information in regards to the patient, if the officer were to ask for something like a tox-screen, blood test results, intoximeter readings etc I would not give it to them. But a "I found this on a patient during examination, destroy it" does not = "Joe Shmoe in room B had this on them and tox came back negative so he's selling, arrest asap." Never once did I mention giving any patient information, was just sharing frustration in being legally bound to protect scum bags, and I don't need your approval. Go shit up some other thread
