Order 1k worth of boxed lunches from Panera Bread online over two weeks ago for an extremely large meeting of 80 people including two vp's and two of our directors. They show up an hour late then claim that was the delivery time I requested, in front of the entire room. Luckily I keep all of my shit in a binder with me at all times. Showed the driver my invoice from online stating delivery no later than noon. 35 people had already left. I then called the store on speaker phone and inquired as to why the order was an hour late, with the delivery guy standing there. End up getting 500 refunded and showed my boss and his bosses I keep my shit straight. Still fucking pissed off though. The store apologized and stated that they misplaced my initial order. I had three different contact numbers listed and nobody bothered to call.

Well, reason #1 for not getting a cat was because my boyfriend is allergic, but now I have a second reason not to get one.

I'd rather a cat than mice. If you live anywhere near a rural area, field mice happen. There's nothing you can do to keep them out. Little fucking houdinis these things are. They carry a ton of diseases and can cost you a lot of money if they aren't kept in check. (Chewed wiring being the most dangerous)

Work for the Election's office here in my town and had an issue at a precinct this morning right at the time voting was suppose to start so I headed out there to work my magic. On the way I noticed four cars at a notoriously slow turning red light and decided to cut through a parking lot to aid in my trip to the precinct. Well I got pulled over and when the cop asked me why I "ran the red light," telling him I was trying to protect the voter's 15th amendment by getting this machine working was apparently not the right answer. $151 dollar ticket, got taken care of though by my boss thankfully.

Rofl. My wife would be pretty pissed if he dropped them on the bed. When he caught them he would leave them at the bedroom door. Then first thing in the morning we'd see his gift, and reward him handsomely with petting and either ham or fish jerky.

For a few years during/after college I had a fat calico cat. My parents have a raised ranch, and the guest room's window is the same height as the ground. I used to sleep in there and my cat used to go in and out of the window at night. (I'd have to open/shut it for her.)

Well I live in an apartment complex in a fairly populated area. So my problem is bugs, yay Florida! But the apartment complex has the responsibility to take care of that. At worst, I may get one of those little gecko lizards that are always running around outside in my apartment, but they're not hard to catch and release.

It's a win but I plan things at work so meticulously that it frustrates the hell out of me when shit doesn't work the way it should.

I'm the same way, especially when it comes to work and school stuff. I always want to put my best foot forward in those two places, which is why I hate doing group projects.

My friend and her husband have 3 adopted children. 2 sisters that they adopted out of a terrible family life and have raised for four years now, and also a young boy that has Down's syndrome. Needless to say, they have my complete respect for what they have done. My friend recently became pregnant with their first natural child. I was hanging out with them when the news of her pregnancy was sprung on one of their friends (whom I'd never met before), and her reaction was, "How wonderful! Now you'll be a mommy for real!" ....WTF MAN. I'm sure it was not meant as an insult, but holy shit, have some tact.
