ok, big random fail today.
I was daydreaming when my sister yells about the mixer paddle. (Said mixer is a old kitchenaid) She blames me for it since I tend to be careless at times and put things away and forget where I put them. Turns out it's nowhere to be found..We think my youngest niece was "helpful" and threw it away.
We at least ended up cleaning under the couches (which were really dirty, nax) but I did end up ordering a new one.
What's worse, sis blew this little thing to be worse than it is. Sheesh, I hope things turn around soonish. >< I'm hoping so..
We are pretty sure my daughter threw away our tv remote shortly after we got the tv. It's an insignia and I have another insignia remote from another tv that we've been using. But you gotta angle it all weird.
I never remember to buy a universal one when we are at a store lol.
I am in my third week at my new job and I had to update the SSL cert on our mail server which I did but ever since then all of my end users are getting authentication errors. I have been chasing my tail trying to solve this issue for three very long days now. I think I figured it out because I had to insert more intermediate certs into the chain. I really hope I have it figured out now.
Trying to fucking sleep off whatever I have and some dickbag at our apartment is working on his shitty motorcycle. He keeps reving it up and down every few minutes. So much for fucking sleep.
When would you like him to work on it? During the night time when there's typically noise ordinances and 95% of people are eating dinner/winding down from work?
A nice cushiony pair of headphones are a lovely thing. Those and blackout curtains will keep you asleep through almost anything.
Oh I understand this is one of the better times , it's just timing and because our bedroom is on the back wall and hill all sound echoes horribly. There has just been non stop noise the last few months daily between both apartments on either side of us being completely gutted/renovated , people being loud as fuck talking outside and people working on their vehicles. More an annoyance really but I admit I get over the top fucking bitchy when I'm not feeling well..lol.
My remote for my Vizio Smart TV broke a few months back. Buy a third party replacement off of amazon. Try aiming the controller in random directions because I'm used to the old controller. Think it's a broken controller or it doesn't work with my TV. Few days later clear off some papers off the table my TV is on and the controller works suddenly. The papers blocked the IR sensor and I never knew until then that the broken controller was a bluetooth one.
End up hating the new tv controller because I actually have to point it at the TV now.
Mmakay, it's been confirmed, the youngest niece threw it away..we got it back tho. and yeah.
That niece seems to throw things away quite a bit, good thing we caught that one. Happy ending to that; sis apologized. I also got to cancel the amazon order for the new mixer blade/paddle, which saves me about $30. (Which I could spend on a game later)
Lol, I would if it wasn't in amazon gift cards XD
I always dread this time of year. Hubby's birthday is later this month plus Christmas shopping and there I don't have a damn idea wtf to do this year. Worst part is I actually have the ability to do something for once and I'm drawing a blank. Video games movies and clothes are out because we have way too many of all of it. And to think I have at least 30 more years of this. I blame the nyquil for making me grumpy though..
For Christmas, I don't know if it's something he'd be ok with, but if I'm ever dating someone around the holidays I always tell them not to get me anything for Christmas and instead take the money they'd spend on me and put it towards those children's present trees that are at malls that allow for less privileged kids to have gifts to open on Christmas. I know I don't need a gift and would much rather a kid get that gift he or she couldn't get otherwise
I know that feeling.
One brothers birthday right at the end of November. Christmas. New Years also requires gifts (Asian thing). All my insurance renews in January. Other brothers and dads birthday in February.
My bank account at the end of January looks like Rob Ford went to town in a Mexican crack house.
