I don't bash anyone for having to few friends. I have 5 close friends and then there are others that they know that just happen the hang around too. Fuck I can't even name all of the "others". There lots of people I hang out with, poker, sports, volunteering. But that's all it is. I don't do much ever with them outside that one thing.

Fuck if you have only 2 people you trust/chill with I think that's just fine.

i keep everyone i know in onion layers. core is me, next layer is split between my parents and my closest friends (7 people, only 5 i hang out with IRL a lot), next layer is more distant family and friends i dont talk to all that much, layer after that is family i havent spoken to in years and friends-of-friends, friendly acquaintances, etc. layer after that is total strangers. it's pretty fluid and people move between layers all the time.

the further from the core the fewer expectations i have of them. fewer expectations = harder to prompt an emotional response.

So we are at Vegas which is awesome and hubby decides he wants to catch the medieval times type show asked Tournament of Kings. Heads to sales and box office and is cut off by someone asking if he wants a discount or coupon. I'm so tired I'm not paying attention and after its all done realize he got suckered into a timeshare speel. Fuck that noise.. I actually made him go back and get a refund. I love my husband but sometimes his love of a deal is fucking annoying lol.
