Random Fail: First World Problems

It's been like 9 hours since I texted my mother. She has called me 15 times and has left the voicemails yelling at me. I have chosen to ignore her for the whole trip now.

Oh and she sent me a text saying she's calling the cops.(I have no idea lol)

Christ. She is just bonkers. I get Bell's palsy and she completely ignores me for a whole month till it's healed but now I'm on vacation, 100% healthy and suddenly she thinks I'm dying.

I fucking shit you not your mom and my mother in law must be fucking related..and for that I am truly sorry. It just sounds like a txic relationship but I understand that completely cutting ties isn't possible at this time. But fuck man I would try to figure out a way to if possible..for good.
I will never understand how someone can be that way as I had an amazing mom myself and actually feel sad my husband never got to have that kindness in his life.

Hope things go well for your vacation though.

It's going to go great. I've set up everything for tomorrow. Got all the employees ready to help me with the purposal too. Best part is gf has no idea and fuck, it's getting so hard not to tell her.

And my mom was amazing growing up. It really sucks that she turned into this toxic monster.

I'm going to try. The dj try have here fcking sucks so hopefully it can be heard and whatnot over the loud and shitty music the dude plays.

But ya. My plan is that my gf is going to tell te resort it my 4 year. I'll go up on stage and get rum and be told how cool it is. Then I'm going to say something like
"4 years ago I was given the ability to live each day but what made each day worth living didn't happy till two and a half years ago. That's the day I met my girlfriend by random chance. Sam ball, will you come up here. You have given me freedom and happiness I never thought possible, friendship I only ever dreamed of having, and the ability to actually see a future where I am alive and happy. Because of this, I'd like it if you did me the honours of being my wife" then getting down on the one knee and pulling out the ring.

Yeah, she's going to be bawling. Astylla cried and I was a bit of a dick by having her walk home from the bus stop and it rained that day so I could perform the proposal (pro tip, even if she's a gamer, it may not be beneficial to your health doing it during a raid wipe in wow lol).

Love the idea and cried just reading it but I'm a very emotional person lol. As for tips : just be yourself. Honestly as the bad of day I had as Melena posted above it was still the most amazing moment. Enjoy both of you.

Lost my job yesterday. Was told it was because of 'lack of work', but seeing how there's 12 panels to build, it's kinda bullshit. Parents dog died yesterday as well, we've had her forever

Ordered some Lego online from bricklink so I could build a 8bit samus for my living room. Had to make two orders: One had a tracking number (from Missouri), one didnt (from Quebec). I fucked up my postal code on both, yet the one with the tracking number still made it within a week, the one without the tracking number still hasnt made it here (its been almost a month now). I redid my order from a different seller two weeks ago (from Wisconsin), once again no tracking number, and that still hasnt arrived either. The day before I ordered a Dethklok shirt (from Los Angeles), it had a tracking number, and that arrived within a week.

Coincidence that my parcels with tracking get here on time, and my parcels without tracking manage to get lost?

Go to put an exercise bike together for my aunt, some screws/bolts turn to the left instead of right...

Way too much time spent seeing if something was trapped in the threading. :/

Fail: Build my new PC, run LinX to test stability and watched the core temps flunctuate rapidly between 65 C and 100C. Take apart case and notice that one of the standoffs holding the cooling pump in place is broken. I have to wait for corsair to send me an accessory kit so I can finish the PC build.

Minor Win: Corsair online support rma process took all of 5 min and was an overall pleasant experience.

Yeah, Corsair is good that way. Most don't realize most of their products are just rebrandings of others, but their support is miles ahead.

Working on final projects all that jazz, I have one more lesson to teach, which happens tomorrow, and I'm stapling worksheets together and my stapler runs out of staples. No big deal, I have two boxes full of staples.

Yeah, except they're the wrong size. Now I either have to tear my apartment apart looking for the other stapler which I know is somewhere, or go out and buy a new stapler and/or staples. Neither of which appeals to me at 1:15AM, but I guess I'm stopping at the store tomorrow morning.

Fucking shit.

Fucking hormones are the worst. Somehow the time of month also fucks with my stomach on an irregular basis. I never know if I can handle carb and dairy heavy food until it's too late. Two days of this pain and discomfort ughh. I forgot to unpack my IBS meds and can't get to them right now.

I'm more pissed off last night hubby tells me it sucked I wasn't feeling good because he had plans for me. Then goes into detail about said plans making me more irritable and turned on. FML.
