I concur, but I completely understand the sentiment behind your initial complaint, since my friends do that kind of shit all the time and it pisses me off. So I don't expect anything better from them, which is why I said "drunks" and not "people." I have some basic respect for a random person. I do not have (much) respect for a random drunk. I consider my friends drunks, even though only one of them (oddly the most adult of them) actually goes out and drinks often enough to come close. They have that infuriating general lack of courtesy that isn't severe enough to make a huge stink about, but still annoying enough to add up over time. This quality is one you often find in teenagers and 20somethings who haven't grown up yet and still go to bars pretty much every night. Hence drunks.

Is it arrogant? Probably a little bit. Do I give a fuck? Nope.

Edit: Also, the reason your complaint reminds me, at least, of high school is because that's how I initially reacted to that sort of thing. I would get furious and make a stink of it. Until I learned to just generally expect it, and contain my fury. Although, I still make a stink over things like that sometimes, if I'm having a rough day. They don't understand at all, don't see anything wrong at all with what they do, don't apologize, and then start getting mad at me... which is even more infuriating. Or they start trolling, which is infuriating as well for a whole different set of reasons.

I don't spend a lot of time with my friends, and I'm still working on controlling my general hatred of jerks.

Also, if anyone else doesn't get what the complaint was.. it's that he told them to let him know so he could drink it with them. Not by himself in a corner. And they didn't. Since the permission to drink the booze was based on that condition, they didn't really have permission at all. But such details are lost on thoughtless people.

I thought this point of this thread was to bitch about problems inconsequential and pointless in the long run. I'd be pissed too if I woke to my friends being drunk/stoned off my dollar, and they failed to wake me up like I asked them. I might even bitch about it on a thread online. Its not like he said he threw a hissy fit or anything when it happened. You kept your cool, right rara?

He apparently bitched enough that his friend agreed to pay him back for the booze, which is something I would not have done without considerable bitching.

So, I mixed up dates on papers with two of my classes and the final paper/book report is due tomorrow, and not Dec. 3rd. I haven't even opened the book yet lol, meanwhile my Philosophy professor handed out our final paper(the one actually due Dec. 3rd, and not Oct 13th, yes I go to class on Saturday, is already complete.) HNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGH, time to pound coffee and meth and have this book read, and paper done by 8 am sharp v.v

I did, I told them that I was not happy with the fact I wasn't invited to drink my own alcohol, and went to bed. I was too tired to deal with bullshit.

Edit: I also have a job now, so paying for stuff isn't really an issue anymore.

Yeah I'm seeing quite a bit of the same. Everyone wants experience but no one wants to train. How in the hell is someone supposed to get anywhere. There's so very very few internships.

Random Question/Random Fail: Why are smartphone batteries so shitty? Can't go more than half a day without charging, and I really don't use much more on my phone than FB and texting for the most part.
