I took the position of our Operations Manager while she was out on Maternity Leave. I have a pretty solid approach to Management (it's actually been commented on in this thread. Not in a good light mind you.) None the less, I'm cool, calm and collected.

Every employee in my department appreciates me, we have a good time. Pandora stations on shuffle and all that good shit.

I caught a reality check when I was sent home with a "write-up" from the owner of our company. The AM manager said I was negative to her and she doesn't feel comfortable consulting with me... This happens days after the OM comes back.

I need to learn to pepper all my emails (our only form of communication) with exclamation points and smiley faces as I work in an industry dominated by 20 somethings with the mentality of high school girls.

QFT. I tell a coworker that the way he is doing something is unsafe and can hurt someone & mess up someone's clothes. I tell him to fix his mistake for his, his coworkers, and my safety, and I state that wouldn't be giving this spheel if he was doing it safely. Gets fucking butthurt, gives me attitude and defiantly doesn't do what I told him to do. I have at least 6 years seniority on this guy and he pulls this shit.

God I hate iphones. Security at work requires ad passwords changed every 60 days. Our email password in exchange is tied to said ad password. Monday my password needs to be changed, change it, update my galaxy s5 with the new password so I can get work emails on it, works fine. Update the iphone and after about 5 minutes of verifying, says it can't verify my information. Stupid piece of shit....

my dad has had kids come in insisting they should get a better grade because they tried hard. shit like that. makes me hate the millenial label. i'm 26 so i get lumped in with these shits but no one i know my age is like that.

Yeah, there's a pretty clear cut between <25 and >25. No idea wtf happened.

Like 80% of the people we've had come through that are <25 can't hardly do anything. Can't get work done on time, can't show up on time, etc. One was complaining because he didn't know how to balance his checkbook. Luckily we put most people through a contract period, so we weed out the ones that don't/won't work.

Had an early final today. Well, early for me. Test starts at 9:30 AM, I normally get up at 9 AM (this class is normally at 10:30). So I set my alarm for 8 AM so I can get up and get some food and ensure I have plenty of time to get to campus and find a parking spot. Drive to campus is usually 10 minutes, with another 10 to find a parking spot and then 10 to get to class.

Forgot to turn my alarm on, I woke up at 9 AM this morning. Still made it on time, but I was lucky.

Ordered three items the other day due to a great sale for the husband for Christmas. Get an email last night 2 of the 3 are shipping and look down and third item is cancelled. Turns out they ran out of the item but still allowed me to purchase it.
Just so happens it was the one item I was really wanting and was clearance so not being restocked. Found it on amazon for triple the price and said fuck that.
