well our real problem is that the lego side is task oriented too. the kids will just build random shit, which is cool, but not really the point of the group. honestly I would have more fun with just supervising while they freebuild, but these kids' parents paid money so i gotta at least try for more than that. so we have to keep them focused on building towards a specific purpose: here, build this robot. here, come build an attachment so the robot can operate this mechanism, etc. the robot has to go through an obstacle course type thing, except the obstacles are more like simple puzzles.
