Yeah but they figure student loans and most of them are dependent students (even though their parents are fucking broke too). In my case it really wasn't supposed to be an issue because I applied for enough when fall term approached, but the VA is what's really screwing me. So basically the student loan money, along with any grant money, is sitting on my tuition, and I'll get a fat refund once the VA does their thing, but by that time it may be a big problem, because 4-6 weeks means a rent payment, and if I can't make rent well, that's a big problem.

I'm gonna be playing a bit of a waiting and praying game basically, and also looking at what I might be able to dump on craigslist, I guess I got a few things lying around I could get rid of.

My brother is a school rep for the VA while he's in college and he was telling me how CSUH was essentially fucking over all the VA students by being slow as shit in processing VA claims, if they even got processed. Shit is fucking retarded.

It's absolutely bullshit and I'm truly sorry you are dealing with it and many others too. Like Melena said his brother deals with it constantly and it angers me to no end. These are benefits you and countless others depend on and we're promised yet they think it's acceptable to make excuses and add red tape. Fuck that hat shit. I hope things get settled quickly.
